Born and raised in India, I moved when I was 14.

I'm trying hard to surround myself with people who are thoughtful, intelligent, and smart. Those who can hold interesting conversations. However, I'm also looking for people who are able to appreciate the silly side of things, and can laugh when circumstances otherwise get us down.

On a serious note, I'm making a concerted effort to try new things - I'm at that stage of my life where I'm trying to find something that inspires me or connects with who I am.

My accent! My sense of humor - dry, sarcastic, and full of references to arrested development.

My curly hair and... I'm not lying, girls have told me they'd kill for my eyelashes. Apparently because they're long. Makes me feel special.

Favorite books: The Poisonwood Bible, King Leopold's Ghost, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - the only three books I ever finished in high school... The Archaeologist, The Things They Carried - probably the best and most personal book based on a war, Mountains beyond Mountains

Favorite music - I will listen to anything besides hip hop and country. Alt rock and 90s are staples of my taste, however, I have to say that the 80s had the best music! You can never go wrong with synthesizers. I also love ambient music - Boards of Canada, Brian Eno, Portland local Eluvium, Aphex Twin, Carbon Based Lifeforms. If there's anyone out there that likes going to such shows, hit me up!

Favorite movies: I am a huge movie buff, will watch anything and everything. I'm also a huge movie nerd, and for some reason can tell you things about movies and shows I haven't even seen. If I could claim one movie as my own, it would have to be There Will Be Blood; everything about that movie is perfect. Otherwise, I usually like movies with some philosophy mixed in -Dr. Strangelove, The Matrix, A Clockwork Orange - the kind you want to talk about after watching it. I could go on and on...

My friends, cell phone... , games and movies, exploring Oregon, and all different kinds of food.

My next move - Continue with my job, or travel to India for volunteer work like I always wanted to?
