My self-summary
I love books, music, and adventure. It's not about where you go but how you get there.

I'm not particularly religious in any conventional way, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy different faiths. I'm a very curious person and always want to learn.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning languages, how to cook, reading..
I’m really good at
Making inappropriate jokes and being sarcastic. Not being taken seriously. Giving stupid facts. Like in parts of California it's illegal to walk an elephant down the sidewalk.
The first things people usually notice about me
Dude, you sound like that guy from Zombieland!
You can wiggle your ears!?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy reading, but a few that stand out: I Am the Messenger , The Book Thief, The Bell Jar, Millenium Trilogy, City of Glass (series, guilty pleasure, judge away) A Song of Ice and Fire, Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow.

Movies? What Dreams May Come, The Crow, Gladiator, Millenium Trilogy (both versions), Boondock Saints, Constant Gardner (also a good book), V for Vendetta, Pathology.

Shows -- Spring Awakening, Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, and Rent to name a few. Local shows, Indy, Folk, etc.

Television -- Most BBC productions.. Sherlock, Dr. Who, MI-5, Firefly, BSG, Revenge, Law and Order.

Music -- Pretty much everything. Classical, Indy, Folk, Symphony Metal. Brahms to Decembrists to Fleet Foxes and The Weepies, to Lacuna Coil. It's all over the place.
The six things I could never do without
1. My Bike (love cycling).
2. Running.
3. Music.
4. Commas (seriously, it's a problem).
5. Rain (puddles).
6. Sunglasses.
7. Mints (seven? I do what I want!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'll be in two years. What's on the other side of a black hole? How much I miss the rain. How Firefly could get cancelled. And why Penguins are so well dressed.
On a typical Friday night I am
Packing gear for hiking or rock climbing. Going to a show, or just spending time with friends and watching a movie.

The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the WORLD!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm allergic to chocolate.

I'm generally decent with grammar, but my love affair with commas knows no bounds. Judge me if you will.

You should message me if
You have any questions, want to say hello, or need a date to a play, concert or museum/art show.

You believe that Fortune Favors the Bold.
Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat.

Also if you need someone to go rock climbing or hiking with.
