Oscar Wilde is a pretty great author. Philip K. Dick as well, even
though I'm not all that into sci-fi. My favourite book of all time
is probably The Count of Monte Cristo. Or maybe it's
There's also a few comics that I really like. This started mainly
by accident when I typed "what the hell is Dada anyway?" into
Google, and I came upon this GeoCities Doom Patrol fansite. After I
read, and enjoyed those stories, I also picked up a copy of Batman:
Arkham Asylum when I found out Grant Morrison was involved with
that too. This is all really odd, because superheroes normally
don't interest me at all.
I haven't seen that many movies from the past...decade. I did enjoy
the Lord of the Rings adaptations, but not as much as I enjoyed
Casablanca, Snatch, Trainspotting and Magnolia.
There's this SyFy original show called Haven. It's pretty good. I'm
usually not that into comic books, but for some reason the show
Arrow tickles my fancy. It's probably shirtless lead actor guy.
Then there's Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and that other one with
that one guy from the thing.
I used to say I like everything but Country&Western. But as I
started to appreciate the pain that's in every country song more
and more, I've started disliking a lot of other music. Now I
usually keep to the Classical and Romantic periods, Jazz and Blues.
Oh, and sometimes I'll put on some Ratatat. Or Modest Mouse. And
also Nick Cave. And Brant Bjork.
I like food. That's a simple way to put it. I love to eat, even
though I get full quite easily. I love to cook too, but I still
have a fair bit to learn. Excuse me for tootin' my own horn, but I
do make a mean pizza, though.
