My self-summary Propose an edit

I am a pretty quiet guy, and usually pretty shy when meeting new people, but I can warm up quickly once I get to know you. I like to think of myself as a very honest person; I generally am pretty blunt with things, but I also try and make sure I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I have a good sense of humor, and that I try to make everyone laugh. I tend to avoid confrontation with people, but if I’m unable to avoid it, I will stick up for myself or for anyone who is being bullied around, especially my close friends.
Even though I’m already 22, I am definitely am a kid at heart. I enjoy playing action-type video games, (as any boy does!), watching things explode in movies (I also enjoy watching “chick-flicks“ and other types of movies), and sitting back and just enjoying the day. I also really enjoy watching different type of Japanese animation, otherwise known as Anime. It’s one of my favorite things, but I am just as happy laying in bed reading a good book for the day. Because I tend to be the type you’ll find hidden in the corner of a room, I’m not overly creative in finding things to do. If you can find something that you would enjoy doing, I am up for trying anything at least once!
When I’m not working at my job, I am gathering up my friends and working on our latest movie project. Since my passion in life is to become a cinematographer, I have committed hours to my movie projects. So far, I have three short films under my belt, and hopefully within the month, with the help of a few of my friends, our fourth film will be ready for shooting. I’ve wanted to be in the movie industry for as long as I can remember. For a while I wanted to get into video gaming, but quickly discovered that that was not for me. A teacher suggested that I take a lighting class, and that was that!

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am currently attending a local community college as a part-time student going for Film. I have already taken all of the film classes that they have to offer, and now I am working on the basic math, English and science courses in the hope of earning a Motion Graphics degree, which will help me significantly when the time comes for me to go for a real Film (Cinematography) degree. I have been working on this for a couple of years, but still have a few to go.
I also have a part-time job. It’s a very humble job in the customer service department at a teacher’s supply store. I’ve been working there for the better part of a year and a half.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I would consider myself pretty good at creating films and being a Camera Operator/ cinematographer. It’s something I really enjoy, and I think all the years I have devoted into it has given me some talent with it. On the days that I have that flow of creativity, I would say that I am really good at coming up with story ideas for future movies, and with ideas on how to make those ideas come to life. I’m also good at being my goofy, odd self!

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit

One of the first things people notice about me, other than my quietness, is my smile. I think that I have an ok one, but my best “gal pal” says I have an amazing smile. I can also come across as a bit of a nerd, depending on if I’m wearing one of the many shirts I have acquired from a few conventions I have attended!

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

Six things that I could never live without? Besides the obvious things like food, water and air…

Definitely my friends. I don’t know what I would do without them!
The internet. I would lose contact with a lot of people if it were to ever cease existence.
The television show HEROES, because it is my current addiction. ;)
My film equipment. Without them, my passion would come to nothing but ideas.
My education. It’s something that I cherish, even though there are a few subjects I could definitely live without!
Passion. Without my passion for anything…where would I be?

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

My film stuff. I spend a lot of time coming up with new ideas for a script, and for who to turn that idea into a movie.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Probably somewhere out with friends, or if they aren’t available, you’ll find me sitting in front of the TV, either watching it, or playing video games. Or if that doesn’t catch my fancy that night I’ll probably be sitting in bed reading a book or coming up with the latest tweaks for a storyline.
