My self-summary
I'm a sad tomato, I'm three miles of bad road. There's nothing much about me that's too interesting. I have blue and pink hair, some people think that's pretty cool. I like vintage advertisements from the 30s,40s,50s, and 60s. I also like vintage pictures of pin-up girls. My walls are covered with magazine clippings of classic actors and actresses, along with other interesting memorabilia. Cult cinema and theatre amaze me. I'm a big old dork living in the city that never sleeps and I love to write.

I am nihilistic, incendiary, and linguistic
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a student in the pursuit of cheap art, writing, and acting classes. I spend my time being infatuated with anything related to artistic expression. I'm wasting time until something really explosive happens to me, only I fear my hope of this will never actually be fulfilled. I am a word weasel and take pleasure in all-things-bohemian.
I’m really good at
A lot of things... ask me, really.
The first things people usually notice about me
My pink and blue hair.. it does attract attention. Either that or my quirky dressing habits.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a) My favourite books are forever growing in number. But I will name just a few for your entertainment. I am very much tied to White Oleander, The Bell Jar, A Streetcar Named Desire, and anything written by the topic of my idolatry Sylvia Plath. White Oleander just intrigued me in its honesty and I empathized so much with so many of the characters and even just aspects of it. The Bell Jar is self-explanatory in its appeal basically because of the writer. I feel I am the contemporary embodiment of Sylvia.. she's just so similar to me, shown by her poetry, novel, and journals. I am Plath Doll! A Streetcar Named Desire also encompasses the subtle sexuality I have come to know and love. Plus, Blanche DuBois-- so misunderstood, so flawed, yet so undeniably beautiful in heart and mind, despite her obvious imperfections. Gold, Tennessee, gold! b)Movies: Yet another section of interest you folks at OkCupid have found of mine with innumerable prospects! You, sneaky dogs, you! Well-- let's start with the Elia Kazan classics, shall we? A Streetcar Named Desire, On the Waterfront, East of Eden, and Splendour in the Grass. Elia Kazan is my favourite director-- he's a genius. There's also Rebel without a Cause, Mulholland Drive, Gone with the Wind, among many many others. Anything inspiring-- quirky, something in which you have to think to understand.. something compelling! c)Music... Well I'm very varied with my musical taste. I'm a huge fan of The Cure, The Pixies, Portishead, Nirvana, Bright Eyes, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen, Interpol, Muse, Radiohead, REM, etc etc etc. Not to mention my interests in composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, George Gershwin, Stravinsky, Debussy-- and the more contemporary Philip Glass and Thomas Newman. So much.. d)Well, food isn't all to important to me, just the face that I need it to survive is enough. I like fruit and chicken...
The six things I could never do without
A notebook, a dictionary, artistic implements, theatre, music, and books. Fuck food, I need expression! If I couldn't read, write, and make things I don't know what I'd do. I'd probably spontaneously implode.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Now this is a tough one. I'd be most inclined to say Sylvia Plath because everything she ever did just amazed me. Her way with words-- the way she manipulated them to fit the situation of her compositions just blew me away. Someday I hope to have her writing skills. Plus the implied sexuality in some of her writing is just exquisite-- those subtle implications of eroticism are infinitely magnificent. Yes, she is basically all that inhabits my mind. Deal with it, mom!
On a typical Friday night I am
With my best buddy Rosemary, either out roaming about aimlessly or at her place catching up on TV and junk food. We live a seemingly adolescent lifestyle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey?
