My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What is the most pessimistic bird?
The pelican't!

I have the mind of a scientist and the soul of a poet (and an old soul at that). Being healthy and active is a priority, but I'm not opposed to the occasional lazy cuddle days. I believe in working out my mind as much as my body and in continuous growth. I am a goofball with depth who seeks the genuine in life.

"Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered with imagination" -- Voltaire

My soul cannot breathe through walls, so I am often outside immersing myself in nature. Art, music, and literature are essential to my well-being. I believe physical attraction is important though I am much more interested in its complement.

There are many characteristics and traits that I value a great deal. The two most important are being susceptible to the magic that surrounds us and having a great sense of humor. Mine has no boundaries, varying from the dry and sarcastic to...well, sometimes you wouldn't want to run into it in a dark alley!

My ultimate goal is a committed relationship, but I know better than to dictate terms to life. Rather, I am simply looking for a connection with someone special, and am open-minded to the possibilities of what happens next. I envision having fun together, sharing some laughs, and making memories. If we develop a solid connection then I certainly look forward to discussing the 'f' word.

I meant 'future', get your mind out of the gutter! There's not enough room for the both us. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
"Complacency is the death of the extraordinary."

Slowly but surely scratching things off my To-Do List of Epic Awesomeness. And then adding more to it.

I am passionate about my career but it's only a job. Work will never be more than the means to a very fun end. I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, so I am doing just that.

I love to travel and want to take the trip of a lifetime annually (just got back from Iceland). I'm training for my first marathon and hope to sneak in a 70.3 next year. Oh and another backpacking trip.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being open-minded, adaptable, and resistant to labels. I'm atypical, unique, and just like all the others that think they are atypical and unique. I am unable to hide my affection for dogs. I can rhyme like nobody's business, but rarely does my creativity need a witness.

I excel at creating a maze of words that leaves you happily lost within.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd like to think my eyes are worthy of such distinction. Butt it might be something else entirely.

The first thing I notice about other people: if they're left-handed or not. I secretly make fun of the latter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have a voracious literary appetite, for equal servings of fiction and non.
I watch very little TV/Netflix and occasionally enjoy movies.
I'm conscious of the food I eat. Organic is orgasmic.
I'm a former band nerd, and my life has a soundtrack; it's filled with augmented ninths.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
"An unexamined life is not worth living" -- Socrates

Adventure and Challenges.
Nature and Wilderness.
Quiet and Reflection.
Laughter and Fun.
Imagination and Creativity.
Passion, Affection, Romance, and...

If you listed elements or the bare survival essentials for this section in your profile then I like you already, nerd.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think " -- Jean De La Bruyere

I am fascinated with psychology and ethology, with ecology and sustainability, with simplicity, shaded sunshine, sociology and society, seas, stars, science, snuggling, skies, silence...ah, the allure of alliteration!

Generally speaking though my mind knows no boundaries. It wanders and wonders at its own pace.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Oh, the randomity!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can wiggle my nostrils. That's the key to winning any staring contest - make the other person laugh!

I can juggle.

I can't juggle while I wiggle my nostrils.

INFJ with a touch of T.

I often contemplate if merely vacationing in the mountains is enough to satisfy my yearnings.
