I'm moved every day by all walks of life. I'm a born and bred New
Yorker. Art, books, ideas classic films -trigger my dreams. I am
not conventional. I'm a real sweet heart.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, being honest, understanding and not judging people,
dancing to Techno or Rockabilly music, expressing my feelings,
making people laugh and laughing, loving, and admitting when I'm
wrong and correcting.

I went to film school and fell in love with an endless list of
films. Love foreign films from classic on. Renoir (just saw Grand
Illusion again at the Film Forum and I was moved by the humanity
and simplicity of it) Buster Keaton. Love Jean Gabin, the French
actor. One of the best actors ever and very under-appreciated.
Naturally Godfather and Good Fellas. Pina blew me away by it's
merging of dance and 3D and also appreciated how Wenders edited the
film. The editing was seamless. Comedy for me tops the list. I love
to laugh. More of a fan of older films--only because there real
solid writing and character development besides vomiting during a
bachelor/bachelorette party . I do like Will Ferrell. Watch Bill
Maher. Books: Eclectic. Books on art, film, french literature, but
also books on the Mob, True Crime, World War II. Right now, reading
a good book on the artist Goya. Finished a Joseph Heller book. Also
rereading Waiting for Godot--not sure what that means. Leonard
Cohen and Bukowski film me with different emotions. The Strand is a
haven, even though, sadly, it changed. Old book stores are another
passion. Love the smell of old bookstores and old books. Kind of
like the smell of intelligent thought and other-worldly
Food: Deliciousness in all forms. Except red meat. But love to eat
and love to read restaurant reviews in NY Magazine and try them.
Eating is a mini vacation.
Music: I love a range of music genres. Rockabilly, R&B, old
school hip hop, experimental, jump blues, Blues, 60's garage, punk
and funk. Anything that drives me to move and dance. Even the
clackety clack of a passing train.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life. Food. Creative ideas. And how I just bought a powder blue
shirt from Urban Outfitters and the second I stepped outside, I
