IMPORTANT: I am now happily married, but, I still enjoy talking to people, I liked this profile and didn't feel like wiping it, and I still come in and journal lurk, so I'm keeping it alive.

In my few years on this website this profile has seen many changes. I'm constantly trying to better it so that it reflects the ever changing person I have become over the years and experiences that mark our lives, so here's a token, a snapshot of who I am. (I've also erased most of my match question answers, so bear with me as they build back up, along with match percentage)

So who am I? What am I looking for? If I knew the answers to that, life would be a bit boring, I think. But I'll start by saying I am a simple yet complex person, always there with an easy smile. I'm very honest in my intentions towards all people. I am looking for people to spend time with, have fun, live an active life but also someone to slow down with, cuddle up and share some tender moments with.

All I am, and desire to be, is myself.

I believe in living a life without any regrets, of seizing the moment, of doing all that your heart desires.

I may be a little bit shy at first, but if I like you then watch me just let loose! I enjoy a good laugh, oftentimes with a darker twist to it ;)

I'm loving, attentive and mature... but can also be incredibly devious and twisted when I want to be.

I am a person who just loves to learn more about others, about what they do, on any and all topics. I want to be a student of the world, taking lessons from every thing, person and experience that comes my way.

I'd like to meet someone who is not afraid to be herself, not afraid to express what she wants. Physical appearances only go so far. As long as there's a spark, an attraction, that je-ne-sais-quoi... I want to give it a try and not live with the what-ifs. There is no one perfect, but together two people can find something that works for both.

I'm also looking for something casual, friends, or more, to just be able to go out, have fun, and who knows where the days and nights will lead us? There are so many places still waiting to be discovered. I want to spend as much time out in the world as I can, and it's all that much better to have someone to do it with, to be silly and completely and utterly random with. I promise you won't regret it - I am as loyal and caring a companion as you will find.

I have graduated as a computer engineering student at McGill university - and what a long and arduous trip it was. All in all being a student was fun, it's just the school part of it that was a drag - but at least I know have my Iron Ring to show for it.

Job wise, I now work as a technical support engineer for a fast growing company. Between my previous job and this one, I've been exposed to some pretty interesting projects - Video surveillance, physical access security, GPS-based service enhancements to public transit... the list goes on.

Outside of work, well... I'm just living my life. Sometimes hectic, sometimes not, but always just being the best self I can be, whether it be grabbing coffee with some friends, movies, or heck, even driving out 3 hours to help someone find an apartment! If you've got anything you want or need to do I'm always up to going along. I'm open to trying anything once, if only to know if I want to do it twice.

I am a great listener, and have made many friends through just being able to be there for them, help them out in any way I can.

When it comes to my friends, I truly give people I care about my all (and even more so for the one who holds my heart). So I don't know if any of that constitutes a talent, but there you go.

I'm truly a jack of all trades when it comes down to it, infinitely adaptable and knowledgeable, with enough random data to always have a clue what's going on around me, always wanting to build upon what I do know.

Probably that I may seem a bit quiet usually... but then again I easily open up and can't shut up once I get comfortable with you :)

They also probably notice that I'm one of those people that looks exactly like their picture!

Movies:I'm tired of trying to keep this list updated with new releases and forgotten classics -_- My movie tastes are quite diverse and I have plenty of favorites that I will gladly share with anyone that cares to hear about them :)

Books:I've been an avid reader since... always. Ever since I learned to read at the tender age of 3, I've read everything from epic serial novels (Les Miserables in its original format) to the back of so many cereal boxes. I can't say I have a "favorite" book, and enjoy fiction and non-fiction alike, from thrillers and mysteries to family/life dramas and inspirational slices of life. As of late my reading has been more on the "light" side of the spectrum with some of the favorites being: Stephen King (The Stand, all of The Dark Tower), Harry Potter (Pretty huge fan), Hitchikers Guide To the Galaxy series, Dan Brown, James Patterson (his "Susan's Diary for Nicholas" is one of my favorite books - as "chick lit" as it may be - and make it a point to read it once or twice a year and have done so since 2002) , Agatha Christie, Nelson Demille... Current Poison:Been random... Read a lot of Neil Gaiman, Tom Rob Smith's novels, the Hunger games, and whatever else catches my eye at the library.

Music: My musical tastes have been quite eclectic from always. I'll admit to finding some of the mainstream stuff quite catchy sometimes, though there are others which make me want to gag. I listen to pretty much most styles, save heavy metal and some hard rock, and country. The rest is pretty much fine, if I find it good anyways (I can only take so much rap). Group sampling: Radiohead, REM, The Beatles... the list goes on :)

IslesGirl really has me figured out, so with her input, here's an oh-so-very accurate list of things I *really* could not do without. This list hasn't been updated in a while though - go go minor edits:

3. Books. I love to read books. Mostly sappy romance novels that I can jerk off too, but admit it, you do it too.

5. Down-time filler, namely in the form of Video Games. Been watching more TV than playing lately though!
EDIT: While I still enjoy games, I sadly don't have nearly as much time for the ones that used to be here - I cut the WoW string a year ago, and only occasionally log on to the Star Wars MMO instead. I'll play bite sized entertainment on my phone/facebook, even though my inner gamer is ashamed of it.

6. Finally I could not live without the love of my fellow okcupidans/Cupidistas. I love you all <3 (edit: even if most like me have kind of wandered off into the world)

I've always been very interested in the various issues pertaining to sex and relationships and everything in between: Polyamorous vs Monogamous, Kink, BDSM and Vanilla, Love and Sex... and more to the point, how they relate to me, to my life, to my Jewish identity and what place they will take, how much am I willing to compromise on them, and would I even be able to do so? I truly find all those topics fascinating to discuss and would love to find more people to chat about those things with.

I have an incredibly erratic thought pattern sure to confuse the most diligent of readers, but I have a tendency to over-think most of the time to be truthful, about Life, The Universe, and Everything and what The Question really is. So if ever you want to talk about anything, I'll always be up for it :)

I really meant it in that list of 6 things that I want someone to hold me. It's a big deal, no matter how big, strong and confident I may seem on the outside.
