How would I describe myself? I’m smart, funny & adventurous. I find humor in the little things – what is life without a great sense of humor? My humor can border on the sarcastic, so be forewarned! I have an extremely optimistic outlook on life & believe in making someone’s day with a simple smile, funny comment or sincere compliment. I’m passionate about life – I believe that every day is a blessing filled with possibility & opportunity. I’m a bit of a rule breaker (nothing illegal except for speeding) & love hanging out with others who encourage me to be daring. I live a healthy lifestyle including a mostly-healthy diet & regular exercise. I’m passionate about staying active, but still appreciate quiet nights in front of the fireplace with a good book, good movie, good music &/or good conversation. I’m a serious music lover & listen to all kinds of music including pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, classical, country & even rap – &, yes, I sing along when my favorite song comes on! I’m also a (soon-to-be) divorced mom of three, two of whom live with me.

What do I like to do? Because I’m a huge music fan (all styles/forms), I’d love a night out that included any activity with a music theme including listening to a local band (dancing too!), attending a more formal concert or fun musical, or just sharing a new CD over a glass of wine or a cold beer. I also enjoy any activity with a food theme whether it’s dining out (casual or otherwise) or trying out a new dish at home. I love cooking & would love to have a partner in crime share the kitchen with me! I love to do things around the house including gardening & remodeling projects. I enjoy spending summer days boating & listening to good music (you can fish if you want to), hiking a trail in our beautiful Minnesota and biking some of the awesome bike trails we have in the Twin Cities. I enjoy a good movie either in the theater or on DVD at home. I love spending time at my parent’s cabin in Northern Minnesota during the summer, picking blueberries & raspberries & relaxing in front of a blazing campfire enjoying a not-so-good-for-me s’more. I’d love to do more traveling & would love to have a reason to use my passport! I love board games especially Scrabble & group games like Catch Phrase. Last, but not least, I love playing pool!

Working, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, trying new things, discovering all the things I've been missing out on the past 20 years - just living life to it's fullest!!
