My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
For me, life is about relationships. I am fortunate to have a close group of friends and family nearby to share triumphs, travels and the ups and downs of day-to-day life. I would like to enrich my life with a love relationship – a loving, compassionate, and good- natured man who will contribute an added spark, laughter and joy to my life.

I am focused and very curious. There is more to me than meets the eye. I get excited about discovering and learning new things. I enjoy discussions about current events, philosophy, politics, art, music, movies and even religion. (see details to the right for my religious background). I have a soft and tender side that enjoys cuddling, snuggling and telling the one I love that I love him. Please be comfortable with this and have a desire to reciprocate. That is important to me.

I keep fit by going to the gym and for fun and recreation, I like to walk/hike, go to movies, museums, theater and concerts. Baseball is a passion. It would be great if you would share some of these activites with me.

I own a modest house in Oakland that I have lived in for over 30 years. On occasions I enjoy dressing up and going out on the town. I appreciate modest excess but live within my means. I usually take one major trip a year, recently have been to Italy, Spain, Africa, Costa Rica and Mexico. Next year I hope to travel to Viet Nam and Cambodia.

Though I don't put too much emphasis on astrology, I should mention that I am a Scorpio. True to my sign, I am a deep thinker and very passionate about much of what I do. I am also very up front about what I think and what I want in my life. You will need to be accepting of this.

My ideal relationship is one in which we are open and honest with our feelings, bring out the best in each other and find pleasure in sharing each others achievements and joys. We want to support each other when there are sorrows and disappointments and when we are not at our best. We can be silly and lighthearted and like to make each other laugh. Most of all we have an open heart and value what each other brings to our relationship. We are truly partners in life. How much better can it get?
