My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi? It's weird to just list my positive traits, and yet I'm about to do just that, but only after polling family and friends. This is what they said: friendly, genuine, playful, considerate, thoughtful (this one came up a lot), hilarious, charming (thanks Mom!), chivalrous. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how modest I am after listing all of that.

Traveling is always fun and I've been fortunate to visit so many great places. My favorites? Greece, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I left my cushy job in finance to get a masters in psychology. I've traded in blazers for hoodies. I also volunteer as a mentor and take oil painting classes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Recycling. Listening. Being an uncle. Trying to learn new things (skills/hobbies/subjects).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. I won a prize for it when I was 8.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: Sushi. Indian. Nachos. Asian Fusion. Dark chocolate. Steak. Pupusas.

Music: Alternative, Post-Rock, 80's and 90's. Been listening to a lot of Motown lately.

Movies: Godfather, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, In Bruges, Airplane, Lion King

TV: Game of Thrones, Daily Show, 60 Minutes, Silicon Valley

Books: Count of Monte Cristo, East of Eden, painting books.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm not sure why I'm numbering them because it isn't a ranking but I'm going to do so regardless:

1. Connections with people. And dogs.

2. Curiosity.

3. Books to read. I have a stack on the floor of my bedroom that I'm trying to get through.

4. Reddit. It's addicting.

5. Canvas, paint, and brushes.

6. Empathy. It's now a job requirement.

7. Nature. Yeah i listed 7 instead of 6. I'm basically the bad boy that your mom warned you about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to paint next. Why bikes don't have kickstands anymore. What the world will be like when my baby nephew is my age.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Winding down the week with beer and friends, or at home catching up on my DVR. I might be out of town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I will dance my ass off if I'm in an elevator by myself... consequently I often get weird looks from security guards.
