My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd rather be nine peoples' favourite thing than a hundred peoples' ninth favourite thing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly? Wasting time. Writing things. Drawing things. Thinking about flying. Attempting to save a bit of money so I can enrol in some TAFE short courses, and do some travelling. Accidentally spending that money on books instead.

On top of that I'm also writing, going to live comedy shows, watching lots of DVDs, planning things that I may never actually do, and putting off learning to drive for as long as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Coming up with grand ideas and never actually following through on them. Procrastinating, even with things I enjoy doing. Forgetting things I was about to say or do just moments after I thought of them. Buying ten books for every one that I read. Lurking in corners. Making dumb jokes. Laughing at dumb jokes. Making dumb jokes and then laughing at them even, when nobody else does (because I'm a winner).

I am also passably good at drawing/painting, needle felting, and creative writing. Plus I finally bought a guitar after years of wanting to learn, so I guess we'll see where that goes in time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My uncanny resemblance to Gary Oldman in his role as James Gordon in Nolan's Batman films. It's the moustache.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I like books. I buy them infinitely faster than I read them, though. I currently have about 50 in my 'to read' pile. However, my current favourite novel is 'Ready Player One' by Ernest Cline.

Movies: Stuff by Wes Anderson, and basically anything Pixar. Also The Avengers (an unhealthy amount), and a lot of other things. Jumanji and The Princess Bride are two of the best films of all time, and I refuse to believe otherwise. I also like Weekend At Bernie's a lot more than I probably should.

TV: Supernatural and Community are two of my favourites, but I am a huge fan of a great many shows. I just recently rewatched The IT Crowd, and have been reveling in the awesome. I also think Joss Whedon deserves a special mention here for being the greatest person ever to have evered, but I really, really love a lot of TV.

Music: There are too many artists I love to even try to write a proper list. Off the top of my head, a few musical acts I really adore are Warren Zevon, The Mountain Goats, Darren Hanlon, and The Decemberists.

Food: Yes. Good. I don't like pumpkin, salmon, or asparagus.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet access, live comedy, good TV shows, something to write on and with, music, and strong pain meds.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I always seem to end up going to the movies alone. Whether or not that actually bothers me.

My fantasy career as a published author/poet/playwright.

What superpower I'd want.

My ultimate Pokemon team.

Possible offbeat graphic novel characters, and their stories.

Where I want to be and what I want to be doing. Comedy and comedians. Love. Travel. The future. Life.

Oh, and also Diddy Kong Racing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wishing I was at a costume party, or a comedy show, or in a costume at a fancy dress comedy show.

Sometimes I actually am at a comedy show, but that's usually on a Saturday night.

I may also be playing Mario Kart Double Dash, making something arty, or just watching a DVD.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not only can I not drive a car, but I don't even know how to ride a bike.

I once spent $140 on a single CD.

I'm scared of ants.
