1) One of the secrets to life I've discovered: Have a high quality condiment collection in your fridge.
2) I often question the leaps in logic that Netflix tries to present to me based on my viewing habits. Just because I watched "Trading Places" doesn't mean you have to perma-suggest "A Fish Called Wanda" to me for the rest of my life.
3) I always feel simultaneously sad AND happy that my cat shows unconditional affection to me every time I come home. I never wanted to be the 'bachelor with a cat' guy, but that's where I'm at. Now lets fix this situation!]
I haven't dated much... I'm more of a reserved person when it comes to meeting girls, but I want to change that. I've been single for 2 years now. Not having someone to take to a new restaurant, a festival, or the State Fair, or a museum, or a concert has been awful. I love to cook, and not having someone to share my passion for food with has also been awful!
I am open to just about anything. I never thought I'd like horse-back riding, but after trying it this Summer... I really enjoyed it.
I like tv and movies and video games, but I'm certainly not addicted to any of them. I'm perfectly comfortable not turning the tv on for days at a time. I enjoy many different types of music, from rock, to folk, to classical, to house/dance music... just don't expect me to really get into country music. I believe in "everything in moderation" and not letting things get you down. Humor is important to me, and I love to laugh at just about everything. I enjoy laughing at unintentionally bad movies. I believe there's value in dark humor, if it's smart, and makes you think too. I also like sharing silly moments. If you enjoy "The Onion", I think we'd get along just fine! :)
I played soccer for 20 years, and love to run as long as my ipod is fully stocked with podcasts or music that keeps me pumped. I don't believe in arguing or getting mad. Anger is a useless emotion and solves nothing. Plus, life is too short, and time is too precious to spend it being negative.
I'm a big fan of the arts. Art is everywhere if you're paying attention. I really enjoy the Opera (I don't think people realize what an incredible opera company that Syracuse has), and going to museums.
