My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Howdy! My name is Luke and on a scale of 0 to awesome, I am at least a David Hasselhoff. Hahaha not sure what that implies... I am very passionate about music and human relationships. As an art form, I feel that music (of all types) can be expressive to a degree that transcends verbal description, even though that is somewhat of an ironic statement. I spent sometime in college studying in Shanghai, China and that absolutely changed my life. I learned how important strong personal relationships can be, even on the other side of the planet away from family, friends, and all the conveniences of home. I am in the process of bankrupting myself so that I can become an attorney lol. I work in legal services and it is an industry that I think I can see myself thriving in. Although sometimes I get in a very rational and stoic mood, I am capable of being a very deeply compassionate person. Now that I have established that I indeed am a human and not a robot or vulcan, I can comfortably conclude in saying that I am very much down to meet cool people who are equivalent to or greater than David Hasselhoff on the awesomeness scale Haha jk I don't like Baywatch.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently in my second year of law school, which is most metaphorically akin to the fifth circle of hell in Dante's Inferno. That was when Dante trekked across the swamp river where the wrathful dead fought each other on the surface and the sullen lie gurgling beneath the water, withdrawn into a black sulkiness which can find no joy in God or man or the Universe. I can't resist making the law school/Dante's Inferno analogy haha. That book is the only sufficiently morbid comparison to be made. Law school really isn't actually all that bad. Apart from trying to hone my skills in a prospective career in international tax or commercial litigation, I am always trying to reach new frontiers in fitness and become a more versatile guitarist.
