Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A bit of a nature junky, I'm happy when I'm out exploring new
places and trying new things. Rock climbing is one of my favorite
fixes, but I also enjoy hiking, doing yoga, mountain biking, and
I try to balance out all of the running around by relaxing with a
good book or movie every once in a while. I enjoy cooking and am
somewhat of a mad scientist when it comes to trying out new

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in the elementary education program at the University of Utah.
I spend a fair amount of time volunteering at schools, where I have
fun getting thoroughly tortured by kids all day. I just began
student teaching and am stoked to finally put all of that theory to
I'm trying my hand at gardening again this year. I just finished
building a raised garden box out of the wood from an old futon
frame and am excited to see what I can get to grow out of it.
School keeps me busy, but when I get some downtime I'll spend it
playing guitar, writing, enjoying tasty food with friends, drawing,
doing art projects, .... living!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening and empathizing. I try to be there for my friends and be
thoughtful in my advice.
Getting lost in the mountains and when traveling abroad.(both
intentionally and not so much intentionally =) ).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My interesting sense of humor... well that or probably that I'm
climbing naked from the waist down.

Books: I'm a bit of an audiobook junky and an avid reader, so feel
free to send me some recommendations. Some of my favorites have
been: The Book Thief, The Ridiculous Race, and The Omnivore's
Dilemma. I've been reading a lot of Christopher Moore stuff lately.
Movies: I like indie and foreign films. Eternal Sunshine of the
Spotless Mind, Wrist Cutters a Love Story, or Run Lola Run all come
to mind. But honestly I'd be willing to watch just about anything
with you as long as you don't mind me making fun of it Mystery
Science Theater 3000 style.
Music: I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music. My tastes
seem to have changed over the years. Anything from Classical to
Gogol Bordello. I've been on a folk music kick lately(think
Lumineers or Mumford and Sons).
Food: One of my favorite things to do is to drive around with a
friend until we find a little hole in the wall restaurant, and try
it out. The Evergreen House is one of my favorite places to
frequent. I have a weak spot for pho and curry. I also like to cook
and see what I can come up with.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, Books, Laughter, Curiosity, Nature, and a Towel(Extra
points if you get this reference!).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future and where the world is headed. Science and nature. Where
I'm at in my life and what I can do to improve it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
"Same thing we do every night Pinky, try to take over the world!"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm somewhat of a nerd at heart. I'm hopelessly attracted to
strong, intelligent women.
