I am witty, geek, and open minded.
My Self-Summary
Well, let me think a little. Regular guy, kinda smart, quite funny
under the right circumstances, walking trivia encyclopedia and,
well, a big geek. And... well, aska friend of mine, I don't know
what else say about myself. I could start to write a whole bunch
here but most of it would be probably bullshit. So, if you want to
know me, talk to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Used to study psychology. Dropped because I could not stand that
psychoanalysis was the predominant paradigm in the UBA (and as I
later found out, the predominant paradigm in most of the
universities in Argentina). Latter on, an tried criminalistics.
Another "no go". Interesting subjects, but the work you may end upo
getting wasn't for me (and no, it's nothing like CSI). This year:
administrations, which seems to be a keeper.
So my week-time pretty much goes away between work (business
analist) and my new career.
I’m really good at
Debates, dark humor, logical thinking (and twisted logic),
explaining and sometimes at storytelling. As I told before, I have
a great capability to remeber useless information. And aparently
I'm quite a diplomat and advice giver too, but I'd wouldn't be so
sure about that.
The first things people usually notice about me
Possibly that I don't speak that much the first time I meet
someone.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books... well, when I was younger I mainly read H.P. Lovecraft,
Poe, and a couple of more things, but everything in the same genre.
Right now I have broaden my horizons a little bit, and I'm
currently reading Saki (a.k.a. Hector Hugh Munro) and Ambrose
Bierce (they both wrote really short stories... but damn, the wrote
a lot :P). I also read lot of non-fiction (currently in the middle
of Man and his simbols by Carl Jung and others). I'm starting to
really get into comic books too.
Movies... well, a whole lot. To name a couple of them: Batman
Begins, Memento, The Fountain, Cashback, anything by Monty Python,
Esperando la Carroza, The Machinist, The Thing, Conan, The 13th
Warrios (yeah, I know, it mostly sucks, but it's a great movie for
people who plays tabletop RPGs), Romero's of the dead series,
Metropolis, Nosferatu, the Apatow series, and the list continues ad
infinitum. Just for the sake of naming a couple of TV shows, The
Mighty Boosh and The Shield.
Music... again, really eclectic, but even more random (or is it
randomer?) than my taste in movies. And I really don't feel like
making a list again,
And food... I guess that BBQ and pizza (good pizza). Been eating a
lot of vegetarian food lately, good stuff.
The six things I could never do without
Food, air, water, shelter, light and any of my vital organs
(although I've being doing pretty well with only one kidney so
far).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Completely random things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Haging out with friends, either watching a movie, out in the city
or playing RGPs. Actually, scratch out RPGs and put boardgames, I
rarely play RPGs anymore. And add "seldom" before it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm an open book if you just ask the right questions.
You should message me if
If you want to, I guess. I'm always open to meet new people.
