My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
bike rider, book reader, San Franciscan. sailor by trade (currently transitioning into the life of a land lubber, will update profile once i have my life sorted out and with the direction i desire. career #2 so far away and will be so worth it). Never mind what I'm doing for a living right now, I stopped caring sometime ago, will move on soon enough. i'm not as serious as i may come off at times, i'm might just be observing before i speak my mind. over there on the right hand side of the page it says Drinks: Not at all, rarely just didn't sound right for me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
riding my bicycle for hours on end.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i don't know what people notice, but they sure do stare a lot. i don't dress to stand out. i just don't get it.

given enough time one ought to notice my frankness. also, might as well mention this here, im not some super smart mofo, i may be a bit more articulate than the next person, that being said i'm not terribly pretentious so, more often than not someone will shit on the english language or tell me some obvious lie, humanity lets me down too often.
*snaps pencil in half*.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Bukowski is alright. Palahniuk is an okay read, Burroughs is complex at times.
books i've thoroughly enjoyed:
Tropic of Cancer
This Perfect Day
the first three Anne Rice vampire novels(all of 'em really, no matter how shitty the story, the premise held my attention)
Lost Souls
Romo My Life on the Edge: Living Dreams and Slaying Dragons
The Black Hand: The Bloody Rise and Redemption of "Boxer" Enriquez, a Mexican Mob Killer
and many more i've forgotten.

movies: yeah, once in a while.

shows: South Park, News Radio, Daria, Sledge Hammer, Married With Children, Dead Like Me

music: Motorhead, Hope Sandoval, Sloppy Seconds, Los Tigres Del Norte, Slayer, Vicente Fernandez, Murder City Devils, The Drive-by Truckers, Ugly Kid Joe, Megadeth, some goth, southern rock, country.

favorite foods: cheeseburgers, spumoni ice cream, french onion soup, egg drop soup, tacos, sushi, borshch, peanut-butter and honey sandwiches.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
reading material
and two other things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
everything, i like learnin' 'bout stuff n' shit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
listening to Lemmy:

“Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bullshit, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute - I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you.”

"It really bothers me when I hear myself being called the one who started all this thrash shit. I think they're trying to make it a compliment, but considering some of the music I'm hearing, I don't know if it is. Motorhead never set out to start a trend - we were there to go against all the trends. The fact that we might have started something like that makes me feel a little scared."

“People don't read any more. It's a sad state of affairs. Reading's the only thing that allows you to use your imagination. When you watch films it's someone else's vision, isn't it?”

Lifting weights, out for a bike ride, doing stuff...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
not really private, so here is a bit of filler.

there's a higher than likely chance ill make fun of the music you listen to. if you don't have a comeback(which shouldn't be to difficult) about what i listen to then...
ive come across a few profiles that have on them "I love to laugh", so do I.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.'ve been told you're intelligent and down to earth or intelligent and reasonable or intelligent and pretty, any combination of the former would kick things off in the right direction.

i'd like to be in a relationship where you need me as much as i need you but not to the point where you can't be comfortable till we see one another again(the next day, sometime later that week or whatever the circumstance). that being said, im loyal.
