My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm gonna be re-writing/editing some of this eventually, so here's the short version.

Moved up to Seattle first week of December, found an apartment fairly quickly in the U-district, It's too small, but good enough for me. Been tossing around ideas about what should I do for a living while I get my state residency so as to not pay too much for school. I'm 37, never been married and I don't have any children, I've got time to figure out what career #2 will be.
I could be in a serious relationship but, if your "clock is ticking" and you need to get married and all that(soon), I'm not for you.

I will return to San Francisco soon after schooling (a few years away), no question about it, no exceptions.

Bike rider, book reader, San Franciscan. Sailor. I'm not as serious as I may come off at times, I'm might just be observing before I speak my mind, I may say something dry to get a laugh, I might point out the obvious that someone might've missed. I'm quite pragmatic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
One could almost say I moved up to Seattle on a whim (12/6/14). I'm living in a hotel and now I gotta find an apartment(done 12/12/14) and a job, followed by enrolling in school next fall.

While here, I might be on the the okcupid forum, mostly browsing/reading topics as of late(click here).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Riding my bicycle for hours on end.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know what people notice, but they sure do stare a lot. I don't dress to stand out. I just don't get it.

Given enough time one ought to notice my frankness. Also, might as well mention this here, I'm not some super smart mofo, I may be a bit more articulate than the next person, that being said I'm not terribly pretentious so, more often than not someone will shit on the english language or attempt to impress me with some obvious lie, humanity lets me down too often.
*sigh*
*snaps pencil in half*.

Not the first thing,
The other day a co-worker called me a nerd after a lengthy conversation about something or other. In a joking manner I told him to fuck-off. Also I'm not geeky nor do I geek out, fuck that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I liek readin'.

Movies: I really like the movie Repo Man with Emilio Estevez, I re-watch that one once in great while. The 80's Molly Ringwald movies are pretty cool. My favorite horror villain is Pinhead/Hellraiser. I like watching Charles Bronson movies and most westerns. As for recent movies Bad Words is pretty great. Foreign cinema yeah I like all that stuff too, like The Piano Teacher(France), Torrente{1,2,3}(Spain), El Infierno(Mexico)

Shows: South Park, News Radio, Daria, Sledge Hammer, Married With Children, Dead Like Me

Music: Motörhead, Hope Sandoval, Sloppy Seconds, Los Tigres Del Norte, Slayer, Vicente Fernandez, Murder City Devils, The Drive-by Truckers, Ugly Kid Joe, Megadeth, the Demonics, Mötley Crüe, some goth, southern rock, country. Also some electronic type music not unlike Kraftwerk, Mono(UK) and this video introduced me to Out Of Asia (there's some seriously beautiful scenery and free-riding in this video, 10/10 would watch again and again ).

Favorite foods: cheeseburgers, spumoni ice cream, french onion soup, egg drop soup, tacos, sushi, borshch, peanut-butter and honey sandwiches.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bicycle
Sweater
Reading material
Laptop
and two other things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything, i like learnin' 'bout stuff n' shit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to Lemmy:

“Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bullshit, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute - I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you.”

"It really bothers me when I hear myself being called the one who started all this thrash shit. I think they're trying to make it a compliment, but considering some of the music I'm hearing, I don't know if it is. Motorhead never set out to start a trend - we were there to go against all the trends. The fact that we might have started something like that makes me feel a little scared."

“People don't read any more. It's a sad state of affairs. Reading's the only thing that allows you to use your imagination. When you watch films it's someone else's vision, isn't it?”

or:
Lifting weights, out for a bike ride, doing stuff...
p.s. I have nothing positive to say about CrossFit, I'm not gonna try it, I'm not gonna give it a chance, no, no and no.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing is really private with the company of a trusted friend, so here is a bit of filler.

There's a higher than likely chance I'll make fun of the music you listen to, if you don't have a comeback(which shouldn't be too difficult) about what i listen to then...

I've come across a few profiles that have on them "I love to laugh", so do I...

Also if you're overweight, just be out with it. I'll like you even more because you're honest with yourself and me. So don't bullshit me with the curvy or full-figured euphemisms.

...you've been told you're intelligent and down to earth or intelligent and reasonable or intelligent and pretty, any combination of the former would kick things off in the right direction.

I'd like to be in a relationship where you need me as much as I need you but not to the point where you can't be comfortable till we see one another again(the next day, sometime later that week or whatever the circumstance). That being said, I'm loyal.
