My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll try to keep this simple. I'm more Star wars than Star Trek. PC rather than console. I'm definitely more of a country boy than a city guy(but I'll head to town for drinks, dinner, or to see a band). I prefer wood fire to a gas grill. Definitely prefer pen and paper games to minis games, but I'll play either. Avid reader, hopeless romantic, sailor. I love to drive, and think that automatic transmissions and not being able to feel the road take the fun out of it. I'm adventurous, not risk averse. Camping is more fun on the beach than in the woods. Say hello sometime, we can go running around and find out what fun there is to be had out there.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on my boat so I can move aboard. Recently traded in my old pickup truck for a Jeep Wrangler. I love the damn thing, it's so much more fun to drive through huge puddles in an open air vehicle. Recently discovered the Dresden Files books.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making unreasonably good popcorn.
Breathing fire. Perhaps I'm some form of water dwelling dragon?
Do you know what I'm really bad at? Sleeping. I suck at it.
I'm amazingly good at misinterpreting texts/ims.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know, what've you got?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite comedians: Denis Leary, Richard Pryor, Sarah Silverman, Rodney Carrington.

H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, Robert Asprin, Christopher Moore, Terry Pratchett, Star Wars books, Deadpool, Cable, the Punisher, Ghost Rider, William Gibson.

Alien, Heathers, Mad Max. I'm mostly into horror and sci-fi, especially combinations of the 2.

Archer, Fall Guy, Doctor Who(Tom Baker has been my favorite since I was 12), Futurama, Magnum P.I., Veronica Mars, Firefly, Star Trek TOS. I love BBC shows like Red Dwarf, Black Books, and Coupling.

Genre wise, pretty much everything but rap(though I really dig 80's rap and hip hop) and jazz. some favorite bands are Rolling Stones, Slayer, The Cramps, The Misfits, Jimmy Buffett, Waylon Jennings, The Supersuckers, Steve Earle, the Clash, the Sex Pistols, the Specials, the Aggrolites, Op Ivy, the Pogues, Ministry, Project Pitchfork, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, john Lee Hooker

Caribbean or Cajun, oranges, catfish, grilled shrimp, stuffed oysters, rice, grilled corn, bbq'd potatos pork schnitzel

Video games: I suppose I should add my favorite games in here. I love the original isometric Fallout games, but New Vegas is good too. Eve Online, Civilization, and various combat flight simulators, especially helicopter sims like DCS Black Shark. Sometimes the Sims is fun because it can be like digital legos.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
actual physical books to read
somewhere to get away from everyone and everything for a little while
ethnic/regional foods to discover
fire for cooking, camping, and partying
Water to fish in, boat on, or lay around by
really tasty rum or scotch
Hot dogs on Friday. Hail Eris!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The next weekend...Girls, boats, music. Ya know,.....stuff. On here I wonder what the distance cutoff for "near me" is on profiles. Baltimore and DC ain't that far apart.
Why the fuck I keep meeting/being really into Gemini girls. they're supposed to be poison to us Pisces guys.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out at the marina, maybe out partying with my friends and family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have not been nearly as active as I would like to be recently.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a tattooed and pierced crazy cat lady.
You're not "vanilla." Because I'm not.
You can put up with me stopping my truck to move toads and turtles out of the road.
Let's be honest here. I already have friends, good ones. What I don't have is someone to curl up in front of movies with, wake up on the beach with, head home early so we can get to bed before we're sleepy with, or just generally share in my mischief and adventures. You know, someone to do all the same stuff we do with friends in addition to the things we don't.
Hopefully you're the kind of person who wants to meet sooner than later, and won't be subtle about letting me know if you're interested after we do meet offline.
