My Self-Summary
Just your every day guy that lives in Hollywood that is NOT involved in the entertainment industry. I love live music, (especially ska and punk), watching sports, going out with friends, trying new restaurants, and living life to its fullest. I also have a dorky side that loves video games, watching reality television, and having marathons of old t.v. shows on DVD.
But the best thing I can say about myself, is that I have many sides, enjoy many different things, and am not caught up solely in one scene. I could be at a political rally one moment, and a punk show the next. I could be watching the Dodger game while cooking dinner for friends. Life has so many different things to offer, and I do not let myself get pigeonholed into certain stereotypes that would prevent me from experiencing it all.

The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books -
I love to read, and have done so all my life. My high school English teacher is now a best selling author, who has even had two of his books become major Hollywood motion pictures. While I love the classics, I truly must say I am a huge Harry Potter nerd. I love legal thrillers, like Nancy Taylor Rosenberg and Scott Turrow, and I will read John Grisham when there aren't other options, but he always disappoints me with his inability to write an ending. I also love reading comical non-fiction memoirs.
The nerd side of me also reads political opinion as well as other non-fiction historical books. I think that all started when I got sent to the office in Junior High, and while waiting for the principal I started reading the only book there - The Warren Report. (Then again, I think that is fiction)
Movies -
Well first of all, my dork side must say Star Wars the holy trilogy, not the crappy new ones. I also love Kevin Smith's New Jersey series, off beat intelligent comedies, thought provoking dramas, and once in a while a horror film, but the plot has to be really good, not just blood and guts.
My favorite films of all time include Shawshank Redemption, The Breakfast Club, Clue, Saved, eXistenZ and a long list that includes blockbusters and indie films. I also love blockbuster superhero movies, but I must say both Spiderman 3 and X-men 3 were giant pieces of trash.
Music -
I apologize ahead of time, as most of you will either not have heard of any of these bands or will consider me a complete elitist. I love ska. It is a big part of my life. Many of my tattoos are ska related. I also love punk, and alternative rock. I don't like metal, and I can't stand people who think metal and punk are the same thing.
My favorite bands include Less Than Jake, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution, Five Iron Frenzy, Chris Murray Combo, The Specials, Madness, Social Distortion, Anti-Flag, and yes, I am not ashamed to say, I really do like Suburban Legends. Oh and if you refer to ska as punk with horns, you might want to run. :)
Food - Well like everything else in my life, besides music, my tastes vary. I love all types, and all quality levels. I love a 5 star dining experience with amazing flavors from a chef who understands what he or she is doing, but I also can sit and have a crappy, greasy taco from a local stand and love it. I love spicy, and defiantly lean towards the Asian and Mexican restaurants more than any others. I also try and stay healthy, so i have to be very picky, but I do cheat. :)
The six things I could never do without
But seriously, I could not do without my music (recorded and concerts), my friends, my smart-phone (I know), good conversation, sports, and hair product (you try and get a mohawk up without it.)
