I have spent my entire life adventuring, exploring and learning but despite this reckless lifestyle, I am still a very loyal friend and pride myself upon being someone who can always be counted on in a crisis. I am half-Icelandic and half-American although I am embarrassed to admit that my Icelandic language skills are not very good.

I am in the Asatru (Norse pagan) religion and I try my best to live up to the examples of pride, honor and courage that are the hallmarks of that faith as portrayed in the Sagas. This is extremely difficult at times but nothing worth doing is easy I suppose.

I am always on the lookout for friends to go adventuring with and I occasionally teach sword-fighting to people who are conquering fear and anger issues or who just want to learn because it's so damn cool!

Finding interesting people is one of life's great joys because there are no small number of people who suck complete ass in the world but I try not to let them annoy me too much.

I am a writer and professional Viking! (Yes, I actually get paid for that!) During the Summer, I travel across Europe and fight at various Viking festivals while appearing in the occasional movie (3 so far and I am getting ready for #4 now).

In the off-season, I write books, screenplays and graphic novels (8 total so far). I am writing all three this year so this is a busy time for me but I am never so busy that I cant squeeze in some adventuring!

Sword-fighting, writing and finding creative solutions to things. I also am an expert at eating and drinking and I am absolutely certain that I am awesome in bed (isn't every man?)

The whole Viking thing - it's pretty obvious.

Heavy Metal (Metallica, Motorhead etc.), Classic Rock (AC/DC, Black Sabbath etc.) Classical (Bach, Beethoven, etc), Electronic (Mannheim Steamroller, Front 242), and Ambient (Vangellis, etc).

Foods:
Pretty much anything humans can digest but especially meat . . . MEAT!!!

My wife & friends, My axe, my computer, the mountains, the Sagas, and SEX!

How the world works and how I can translate that into interesting and exciting stories. I am also often thinking about Asatru and the gods and how I can use these things to constantly become a better person.

Of course I am always finding ways to become a better writer and sword-fighter and to create more entertaining shows for the Viking Festival.

Lastly I always wonder where all the fun women go after the Viking Festival is over.

Writing (if a project is due) or going clubbing with friends downtown (if I have money).
If my wife and me are both free then we go somewhere fun like clubbing downtown or to a movie or even stay at home and rent some interesting movies.

That there have been times that I have been terribly irresponsible to the point of unintentionally hurting people close to me. The quest to be a better man is an ongoing process.
