My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi everyone! My name's Jon, and I become far too much excited over the things I like. I'm huge into music, and a total ska/reggae dork.

I very much so enjoy my life, even though, y'know, it isn't always the easiest thing at times. Happiness is a choice dagnabbit.

I'm also a huge nerd, and can name all the Zelda games.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working in the printing business, which is an amazing resource considering my hobby. I'm involved with a few musical projects right now, though the most predominant would be my ska/punk band; "Bad JuJu", in which I occupy the guitar/vocals spot.

Look us up!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Pretending I'm halfway decent at what I do musically. Hee-Haw.

- Obsessively cleaning other people's houses.

- Thinking pets are way cooler than most people.

- Grass Stains.

- Omelettes.

- Writing the letter T.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I'm cheerful as heck, and that I'll chuckle or grin like a huge dork at pretty much everything.

I can't stand conflict, and I do my absolute best to make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves and getting along at all times.

I don't really care too much for small talk, really. I rather delve into much deeper subjects and discussion with friends and acquaintances pretty much right off the bat. My goal in life in understanding of as much as I can encounter.

Books: Comics totally count! Yeah?

- Currently, I'm reading a really great Graphic Novel called "The Boys", by Garth Ennis.

Basically... Corrupt Superheros masquerading as defenders of justice, and the team that brings down the boot on the even less unsavory ones. (Liiiiterally! Ha.)

- Honorable mentions also include "The Preacher",
The Dark Tower Series (And the graphic novel adaptation!),
"Sandman"

And pretty much any other darker, grittier graphic novels.

I read actual books. Honest.

Movies:
- My absolute favourite movie is "My Dinner With Andre". It's entirely composed of nothing but dialog and philosophical theories. Deep stuff.

And motherf*cking Jurassic Park.

Shows:
- I have an unhealthy obsession with M*A*S*H*, and wish that Hawkeye Pierce was my dad. Otherwise, shows would probably include:

-Firefly
-Adventure Time, come on grab your friends. We'll go to verryy...
-Breaking Bad
-Huff (Really good/dark show about a psychologist who's life goes nuts. Really good.)
-Bob's Burgers, because Ukulele's.
-I've been known to watch a little Anime on the side.
-Vice Guide to Travel!

I also really, really wish my hand was replaced with a chainsaw.

Music:

-Ska and Punk, mostly. I'm also a huge fricking Reggae dork. It's just the best feel good music in the world.

-Other than my first loves, I'm huge into Folk/Folk-Rock, and even Bluegrass. I can appreciate all types of music though. Talent manifests itself so many different forms.

Also, if you've never heard of a Genre of music called "Electro-Swing", please leave this page immediately and look it up. It's the catchiest music ever.

Food:
- I've pretty much ruled out candy, fast food, and carbonated drinks out of my diet. If I know it's good for me, I'm a happy camper.

I'm yet to take the plunge into Vegetarianism, but I plan on mustering the courage some day.

-Spicy food is wonderful.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My liver, spleen, eyeballs, lungs, knees, and toes.

Honestly though, I would say..
- Coffee Makers. Especially those fancy single-cup ones.
- My mind. I'll get back to you when I've found it.
- Musical things and stuff.
- Nature, and all it's scary monsters.
- Literature, even dumb, stupid symbolism. Pffshh.
- My wine making kit.

-My Wine Making Kit-

(RIP: My wine making kit)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how people work, and why we do what we do. Phychology and Philosophy are so completely fascinating to me, even despite my lack of knowledge, and I feel are absolutely intrinsic to really gaining a fuller understanding of yourself and others.

(I've recently learned that I'm an INFJ personality type. Cool!)

Music is also constantly on my mind. When you're involved in songwriting or creative process, it's something that I've found that you can never really fully turn off. You're either constantly analyzing everything you come into contact with for some sort of lyrical inspiration, or running bits and pieces of potential melody in your head at all times. It can get a bit nerve wracking at times having unfinished thoughts in your head constantly floating around, but once they're fully realized it's one of the best feelings ever.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I'm not being dragged to a show, bonfire, or jam session, I'm probably in the gaping abyss of the interweb, working on music, or conversing with the cat.

Usually a combination of all three.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, If I'm ever nervous, I'll try to cover it up by attempting to be humorous or silly, which, y'know, explains the majority of my profile.

I'm pretty darn introverted, and maybe just a tad neurotic. Though at this point I basically wear it like a badge.

So we coo'

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- You think Superman is the most boring superhero.
- Actually know what "Skanking" is.
- Enjoy live music! Or play! Let's Jam!
- Seriously. Superman is a bitch.
- You think D&D is way cooler and manlier than football.
- You are actually a pirate.

Anyway. All sillyness aside, I'm just looking to find some interesting people that might want to talk about how grand the universe is, or some stuff like that.

'Cause it's pretty fucking neat if you ask me.
