What I’m doing with my life

Just wrapped up a 2 year gig as a quantitative analyst and am now coaching soccer while applying to graduate programs. I spend a lot of biking around NYC and chilling with my German Shepherd. Life is good.

I’m really good at

Skiing, soccer, teaching. Having fun. Debate. Making to-do lists. Everything microsoft excel. Organizing, minimizing, and steamlining. Not getting hit by cabs. Crushing the crossword.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I recently finished reading When The Elephant Vanishes, a collection of Murakami short stories, and it was awesome. Now I'm trudging through Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance, which is a much slower read than I anticipated, good nonetheless. All time favorites? A Farewell to Arms, Rule of the Bone, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Satanic Verses, The Heart of a Dog, and The Master and the Margarita. I enjoy reading The Economist.

I love Wes Anderson movies, especially The Life Aquatic. The Fantastic Mr. Fox was incredible. The Usual Suspects and No Country for Old Men are amazing, and Old Boy is the best movie I don't want to see again for 4 years.

TV? How I met Your Mother, No Reservations, Californication, National Geographic

I listen to everything. Recently:
- Old Crow Medicine Show
- Devil Makes Three
- !!! (RIP Jerry Fuchs)
- The Whitest Boy Alive
- Of Montreal (Unbelievable live)
- Ms. Fat Booty by Mos Def (amazing)

My favorite food groups are:
- Sushi
- Sandwiches
- Curry
- Mexican, preferably from a taco truck
