I like to work hard, and play hard. I love photography and although
it is a passion of mine, it is also my career. I work for a company
in the photo industry on the business side of things and I love
what I do. But I go by the motto 'work to live' not 'live to work'.
I think that balance in life is important, and it is a key to
success and happiness.
I am confident, and comfortable in my own skin. Being an east coast transplant, I am somewhat direct and to the point and I don't play games. I tell it like it is. I definitely am an east coaster at heart, with the mellow relaxed Cali vibe. Some people say I have an accent, but most don't.
I always like to joke around and tend to be sarcastic and witty with my sense of humor. Laughter is essential.
I like to stay active and enjoy things outdoors. camping and hiking are awesome. I grew up sailing on the east coast and worked for years as an instructor. I have a pretty unique and widely varied background, and set of skills/interests. I love rock climbing and try to make it to the gym at least once a week, and have done a number of outdoor trad-climbs. I also like hiking (ie walking in beautiful places) and love to ride my bike. I tend to go up to tahoe often, both in the winter and the summer. Yosemite also holds a special place in my heart.
I hold an MBA in marketing so yep, I am smart. I also have common sense and street-smarts... I wasn't born yesterday and I have never lived under a rock.
I think shared interests are important, but values are really important too. I'm not interested in someone that wants to change me into something I am not, I want someone who will be themselves and allow me to be me but shares some common values. I value people who do what they say they will do and I believe that the best things in life are free.
