My self-summary
I'm the guy that's friends with everyone. I'm the guy that you ask to help you move at 6 a.m. on a Sunday morning and I show up with a pick-up truck, piping hot coffee and a metric ton of donuts. I'm the guy you call to fix your computer, your car or your sink. That's who I am.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working at a newspaper in a neighboring city; I help handle social media and our website. I'm also finishing my last class at University getting my BA in Creative Writing.
I’m really good at
A lot of things--I'm not being conceited, I'm good at a lot but not GREAT at everything. I like to write and I like to think I'm pretty decent at it as well. I'm also a beekeeper, along with my dad, which once you know how to do it, it's kind of hard to be bad at it... My family and I also make wine. Anyone I've ever given a bottle to has enjoyed it, so I suppose I'm good at that too.
The first things people usually notice about me
Definitely my smile, assuming they can get past my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
For the sake of everything, this is just going to be a list.

Books: John Dies at the End, Game of Thrones, Ender's Game, To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, Heart of Darkness, Fahrenheit 451, I Am Legend and the Dark Tower Series.

Movies: Tarantino movies, old horror movies (not contemporary slashers; though I'll watch 'em), Black Dynamite, Jaws, Clue, Mel Brooks movies, True Grit, 4:10 to Yuma, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, the original Planet of the Apes and Christopher Nolan's Batman movies.

Shows: Game of Thrones, Justified, 24, The Shield, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Breaking Bad, Quantum Leap, MacGyver, Stargate, Star Trek TNG, Twilight Zone, Suburgatory and Modern Family.

Music: There really isn't too much music that I don't really enjoy, but I'm particular to the Blues.

Food: I haven't met a food yet that I wasn't willing to try at least once. I really like seafood (and by proxy, sushi), Chinese and Cambodian/Thai, however.
The six things I could never do without
A pen and paper, a lighter, a necktie, a pocket knife and a handkerchief.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about story ideas. As a creative writer I look for connections and meaning behind all things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends in one fashion or another, if possible.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once ate an entire medium pizza by myself, and I didn't even feel bad about it.
You should message me if
You find me interesting enough to get a coffee with.
