I am laid-back, assertive, and humorous.

My Self-Summary

Hey there! How's it going? I'm Scott! : )

I don't really have a catchy way to get started, so I'll just jump right in.

I'm a college student at Kishwaukee Community College.

I enjoy hanging out with groups of friends and hate flying solo. Any day without plans is a day wasted in my opinion.

I am a sucker for romance and make a girlfriend one of the most important things in my life! I consider myself a good boyfriend, as I take care of my (hypothetical at the moment) girlfriend, never let her down, and tend to make her feel like the most special woman alive (because she is!).

Keeping in shape is a very important part of my life. I like to bike, work out, and in general be outdoors. If given a choice (and if it's feasible) I'd gladly ride my bicycle over driving a car.

As social and active as I am, I also enjoy working with computers. I'm shooting for a degree in computer science so I can get a job programming computers. I'm also one to play computer and video games.

I enjoy reading a good book when I have free time and need some time alone to relax. I've been reading since I was a young child, and there's no better way to get your thoughts going. Plus it's portable!

Well, that about covers it (I think!) so on to the next section! : )

Oh, I tend not to smile in pictures, so don't let that turn you off! I'm quite the fun (and smiley) guy. ; )

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to Kishwaukee College for gen eds at the moment, heading in the direction of a computer science degree.

I just moved back to Dekalb so I'm looking for work. So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to throw them at me! ; )

I’m really good at

I'm good with problem solving, whatever the context: friends, relationships, computers, electronics, dinner plans (haha)--the works.

I'm good at making entertainment out of nothing, like playing catch with a rolled up T-shirt, random word games, fitness activities--anything and everything!

I work well with children, always paying attention to them and treating them like equals. I can get them involved in my random games [see above paragraph ; ) ] and can keep them out of their parents' hair no problem.

I'm decent with casual sports, but I would never join a team or get super serious about it. Games with friends are always fun, though!

When I get the inspiration, I'm a very good writer. I write stories occasionally, though I've yet to actually finish one. Much to the disappointment (and even rage!) of my readers.

Annnnnd I'm pretty good with computer and video games.

That's it! : P

The first things people usually notice about me

Hmm, this is a hard one.

From afar, probably my stature (tall and broad-shouldered). Maybe my face or fitness level?

Up close, I get comments about my eyes all the time. Apparently they're beautiful. : ) When I actually get in the mood to do my hair, I get good compliments on that (but that's rare!).

Not sure what else, but I suppose you should see for yourself! ; )

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't really have a specific favorite book, but my favorite author is R. A. Salvatore.

My favorite movie is DEFINITELY Butterfly Effect. Yeah, eww, Kutcher, whatever--it's an amazing story and concept.

Again, no real favorite song or artist, but I'm into just about any sort of rock, metal, and jazz.

The six things I could never do without

1. Family

2. Romance (still looking at the moment!)

3. Friends

4. Exercise

5. Food! (Yay huge metabolism)

6. Pop/Soda (Yumm, Dr. Pepper!)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything! I guess some of my favorite topics would be romance, food, friendship, pop/soda, where my life is going, junk food, where my life has come from, formal food, you know, those sort of things. ; )

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends or in watching a movie.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Hmm. Well I'm not one for random sharing, so let's just wait until you ask!
