My self-summary
I'm an easy going laid back guy. A little shy/quiet at first but I break out of that shell quickly.

I'm originally from Chicago and tend to gravitate more toward girls with similar Midwest backgrounds. I went to Arizona state university and recently moved to San Diego to start the new year!

I love to travel and experience new/different/exciting things. I currently work for an engineering firm doing telecommunications work and I get to work from home 😊

I speak my mind and am not afraid to call a spade a spade. I can read through bullshit pretty easily and don't like "fake" people.

I'd like to find a fun girl that likes to be silly, likes to speak her mind, and isn't scared to be herself. I prefer the "cute" girls over the "hot" girls and a nice butt doesn't hurt either 😉
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to figure that out but recently focused on finding someone special. It's been a dream to get back out west and now that I have I feel like I can really start to look for something serious and wouldn't be afraid to settle down in this area (if it led to that). When I lived on the east coast I was afraid to get too involved because I didn't want to stay there.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, being there for a friend, making short movies, cooking breakfast.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height (6' 2"), my smile, or my accent (Chicago - I promise it's not that bad)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This section could get long but I'll try to keep it short and sweet and only list the favorites, or current favorites.

Books: perks of being a wallflower, catch in the rye (sucker for coming of age stories). Confessions of an economic hitman, freakonomics, nothing feels good, anything Bret Easton Ellis writes.

Movies: horrible bosses, 50/50, hard candy, love actually, rounders, 500 days of summer, closer, into the wild, where the wild things are, superbad. And I absolutely love documentaries, any and all.

Shows: breaking bad, californication, Friday night lights, the league, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, south park, house of cards.

Music: Music is a big part of my life I feel, and it all depends on my mood. Here are some of my favorites... broken social scene, Bon iver, Appleseed cast, modest mouse, explosions in the sky, girl talk, passion pit, brand new, get up kids, deadmau5, naked and famous, smashing pumpkins, third eye blind. Recently a lot of EDM stuff, love going to music festivals like lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Coachella. Can't get enough of Odesza at the moment and have also been listening to Flume, Pretty Lights, Vindata, Kitty, Porter Robinson, and Jai Wolf.

Food: chipotle, Chicago pizza, cheese, sushi
The six things I could never do without
Great music, friends/family, my bed, the internet, food, sports (hockey being the favorite)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my life is going and if what I'm doing is actually making me happy or not. Where I'm going to be in 3-5 years, like where in the world. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking at a bar with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm an open book, you can ask me anything... I usually don't get embarrassed by much of anything, I love talking about sex, politics, religion, all the no nos, it really gets people fired up.

I feel very vulnerable putting all my business out there like this. I had some friends that are currently in relationships do it so I thought I'd give it a try, whats the worse that could happen? At least this way you know what you're getting yourself into before you meet the person.

Biggest fear is dying alone or never finding love again.
You should message me if
You really enjoyed the movie "drive".

You want to discuss hockey and/or go watch a game.

You can't get enough of Odesza.

You like similar music and can lie down and listen to a whole album without saying a word.

Want to show me around San Diego

Even though you're on this website you find truth in this article.
