I am friendly, laid-back, and funny.
My Self-Summary
So, I love
music,
movies,
TV,
anime,
comic books,and
gaming of all kinds. I'm a big fan
of curling up on the couch and watching a show I like, which isn't
really hard to find with me. True Blood, Weeds, Dexter, House, Burn
Notice, and even reruns of stuff like Scrubs. Although, it's much
more enjoyable to curl up with someone else of course :P
I really like going to the movies when I can, but it's been few and
far between lately. Usually catching up with stuff either via
computer or on demand.
I love music a lot, and it's a huge part of my enjoyment of life. A
lot of 90's stuff and current, while still having a bit of love for
earlier music. There isn't really a genre I intensely dislike. I
can enjoy anything from
Mindless Self
Indulgence to
The Offspring to
She Wants Revenge
to
Citizen
Cope to
MC
Lars. Pretty much runs the gamut. Love going to concerts that I
can, when I can.
I'm a gamer, and I'll play just about anything at least a little
bit. Not a huge fan of console FPS though, Have had tons of fun
with games like
Mass Effect and
Katamari Damacy all the way
to DDR even though it makes me look completely rediculous.
I have one fantastic two year old son who lives with me half the
time, which hopefully isn't a dealbreaker before we've even made a
deal. Just so that it is said, I'm not looking for someone to be
his new mommy, he has one. However, he's non-negotiable and whether
you want to explore being friends or more than friends he is always
going to be a big part of my life, or our life as the case may
be.
Oh, and I'm a Bears fan. Fair warning, there may be pretend
violence with any Packers fans.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working as a dispatcher for a large company. I really
like the company, it's stable, and there is room for advancement.
I'm going back to school at the beginning of the year for my
Bachelors in Organisational Leadership to add to my Associates in
IT, and I'm really looking forward to it. Although it's going to be
tough to juggle fatherhood, work, and school in that order. That's
going to be how the majority of my time gets spent in the upcoming
months, along with the occasional concert and get together with
friends as I can.
I’m really good at
Hrm. Typing? Making a special coca-cola glazed ham? Forgetting
peoples names that I don't deal with on a daily basis? I'm pretty
good at being the resident tech support geek when someone has a
problem. I'm a really good daddy, at least my son thinks so. I'm
pretty good at organizing get together with large groups of people.
I'm a pretty good judge of music I think? I'm really good at
maintaining an even keel by releasing whatever frustration I have
as I have it. I'm fairly good at stretching my income as far as I
can :P
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Definitely the finest gift from my parents. They are kind
of a light green, and sometimes shift hues to more of a greyish
blue. Have a really nice pattern to them as well. Truthfully, my
eyes are most complimented feature by strangers, that and the
occassional "you're funny" remark.
Another would be that I'm pretty much the exact same person here as
in real life. A lot of people have somewhat separate identities I
guess, but that's really never been the case with me. I was really
kind of a shy kid at one point in my life, and I got over it by
forcing myself to be as outgoing as I can in social settings.
Doesn't keep me from being nervous and slightly spastic at times,
but hey, you'll notice it.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Favorite Book? Hrm. Comic Books? Graphic Novels? Actual
Novels?
Hard to say. Rant by Chuck Pahlunik was fantastic if I had to pick
one, but everything by Chuck is great.
Was a big Cabal and Deadpool fan and read it when I could, but in
general most anything Marvel I could tolerate or liked.

all time favorite bands.
Tom Petty may be my favorite solo

The six things I could never do without
My Son, My Friends, My Family, My Computer, My Sense of Humor, My
Ability to Deal with Things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Absolute nonsense, my next vacation, how it'd be nice to have
someone to cuddle up with and watch some TV or a movie, songs I
want to hear once I get home, things to teach my son, random
strings of consciousness that if unwound could cause people to go
insane...that or I was thinking of that Weezer song about the
sweater and I'm walking away.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, then heading home to relax for a few hours before
crashing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Definately that I have a small penis. I don't know. I'm not really
a very private person. I'm about as open and honest as people come
and if you actually want to ask me a question about anything I'll
be happy to answer it.
You should message me if
You think we could have a good time together, you're pretty local,
you don't mind being associated with a geek that reads Penny
Arcade, you like kids well enough that you don't sneer at them and
ask them to fetch your bags, and you won't make fun of me too
harshly if you happen to hear me listening to fall out boy or
something inbetween some much more "refined" music.
