My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hokahy, so, Let's start with where I am now and go from there, yus?

I've been "scruffy" since highschool, because I like watching my beard grow and fill out. When it gets bushy, I cut it off and start over. I'm PARTICULARLY scruffy this year because for a while there, I had no hair at all. Chemotherapy does that. I'm a survivor though, and there's very little chance that it's coming back again, so that's good.

Cancer leaves scars, though, both physical and emotional, and while I don't tend to have baggage, I am still feeling out what I want from this new lease on life. Plus side is I am trying out all kind of new things (I apparently love spice now, woo), bad side is, I can not just put down what my goals are.

I'm warm, though, comfortable, and friendly, and if my grooming is not on-the-par, please rest assured that my hygeine is.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At this time, I'm starting my own organic jam company, with unusual flavors and flavor combinations that you just can NOT buy in stores.

When jam season ends, I write. Usually I am writing stories for friends, sometimes for money, usually erotic in nature. I do have full length novels (and one serial) in the works, as well, but I'm in no rush to get published until the jam business takes off (or fails).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at being a warm and comfortable personality.

I'm really busy but I'm good at fitting in naps.

My clothes are frayed but I'm good at stating clean.

I'm worn around the edges but I'm good at seeing the world with fresh eyes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
1) Tall dude
2) not on fire
3) My dog, since when I'm out n about I usually have her with me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

As far as books go, HP Lovecraft, Clive Barker, and yes Stephen King all the way.

For entertainment, Anything that poses a riddle and challenges you to solve it is great, so that ranged from "Cabin in the Woods" to 'Miss Marple" to "Dude Where's My Car" - I'm not super picky. Just not Spice World. Jesus.

Food: LAY IT ON ME! I will eat, or cook, ANYTHING, at least once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not tempting fate by making an arbitrary list of demands i need to be happy.

My dog.

Naps.

Strawberry rhubarb jam.

My right nut.

Hugs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who, What, When, Why, Where, and How. Not just when I'm writring, just in general too. Why did someone stuff a danish under these pumpkins at the grocery store? Were they saving it for later? Is it a secret pastry stash? Did they decide they didn't want it but the garbage can was TOO far away? Maybe it's a compulsion. It's fascinating to ponder irrelevant details like that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I dunno, either working, setting up a game night or dinner party, or making jams, or snuggling n watching stuff with trusted friends. I'm not much of a set routine kind of guy so if I'm free I like doing what I can.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

You want to. If you don't want to, though, you shouldn't, because this is MURRICA and you are free to do what you want and free to not do what you do not want (within reason). Or if you don't want to message me but you DO want to taste some KICKBITCHING JAM, you should message me for that, too. Or whatnot. Concordantly.
