Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a scruffy localvore moved down from Massachusetts. I work in
the construction field, I enjoy being outside, and I have a
fantastic dog named Dingo Berry. We like going on long car trips
together in my little hatchback. I love my car, it's awesome to
have a vehicle I can pack all of me into and still get over forty
miles to the gallon.
I make my own pickles and jams and salsa and hot sauce, pretty much
anything you can seal in a jar. I write creatively, I do tarot
readings, I'll do pretty much anything that involves creativity,
whether I'm good at it or not.
I'm a cancer survivor and proud of it. I'm proud of my scars and
every missing bit and piece of me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm seeing down roots in the Dc suburbs. A bit of a culture shock
from the unruly colorful towns of Western Massachusetts. I'm in
training to be a certified Land surveyor, and then who knows where
I'll go then. I'm excited.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm worn around the edges but I'm good at seeing the world with
fresh eyes. I Make a mean meatloaf. I Am terrible at watching
horror movies without something or someone to hide under.
I'm great at cuddling, and listening and being there. Except when
I'm tired or my blood sugar is low, then I'm just good at cuddling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
As far as books go, HP Lovecraft, Clive Barker, and yes Stephen
King all the way.
For entertainment, Anything that poses a riddle and challenges you
to solve it is great, so that ranges from "Cabin in the Woods" to
'Miss Marple" to "Dude Where's My Car" - I'm not super picky.
Music: I like all genres, I'm not super devoted to anything, the
tone of the song matters more to me than who sings it. 70s rock,
black ghosts, brad sucks, roisin murphy, they all have play lists
on my Pandora
Food: LAY IT ON ME! I will eat, or cook, ANYTHING, at least once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm learning that, except for the essentials like oxygen and stuff,
you can get by with almost nothing if you want to. I'd certainly
miss most, if I lost it:
My taste buds
My right hand
The ability to appreciate the warmth and contact of another
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who, What, When, Why, Where, and How. Not just when I'm writring,
just in general too. Why did someone stuff a danish under these
pumpkins at the grocery store? Were they saving it for later? Is it
a secret pastry stash? Did they decide they didn't want it but the
garbage can was TOO far away? Maybe it's a compulsion. It's
fascinating to ponder irrelevant details like that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I dunno, either working, setting up a game night or dinner party,
or making jams, or snuggling n watching stuff with trusted friends.
I'm not much of a set routine kind of guy so if I'm free I like
doing what I can.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Message me if you want to talk, or to arrange to meet, or to tell
me your favorite flavor pie. Is it strawberry jalapeño? Well you
haven't had one of my pies yet.
