I am quirky, sarcastic, and busy-but-lazy.

My Self-Summary

Hi! I notice no one ever says their names in their profiles. So...I'm Annie :)

So I was originally born in India, moved to the U.A.E., then to the States when I was 4 years old.

I originally joined the site for the insane amount of quizzes it seems to have but I eventually used it more for meeting new people. It has certainly done me well.

I do welcome new friends :)

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently an undergraduate student (senior year now) majoring in Psychology, minoring in Business. I hope to go on to be a Clinical Child Psychologist, possibly specializing in adolescents.

Other than that, I am just going through life, trying to be a decent human being, experiencing as much as I can, living it the way I feel is right for me.

I’m really good at

Whipping something up when there's no food in the house.

Finding ways around situations.

Untying knots.

Making stuffed mushrooms.

Staying up all night, talking - whether it be helping a person out with their problems or just being silly.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, they're kind of big...and freakishly curly hair. People often ask if the curls are real. I rarely straighten it these days because it's much too time consuming and arduous.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Literature: I read too much and almost everything.

Movies: Crash, Babel, Pan's Labyrinth, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, I Am Sam, Proof, The Talented Mr. Ripley, American Beauty, Benny and Joon, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (it just makes me laugh), Chocolat, The Green Mile, When Harry Met Sally, Mr. Brooks, The Godfather, Singing in the Rain, Gone Baby Gone...etc, etc.

Music: Off the top of my head - Bitter:Sweet, Godsmack, RHCP, Santana, Lizz Wright, Smile Empty Soul, Breaking Benjamin, Duran Duran, Cobra Starship, Under the Influence of Giants, Arctic Monkeys, Audioslave, Nirvana, Garbage, Hooverphonics, Stereophonics, Dirt Poor Robins, Jack Johnson, Evanescence, Karsh Kale, The Cab, Jack Off Jill, Jakalope, Crystal Method, Paolo Meneguzzi, Le Tigre, Massive Attack, AFI, Athlete, Kasabian, Beck, Corinne Bailey Rae, Damien Rice, M.I.A., Muse, Rooney, She Wants Revenge, The Tings Tings, Voxtrot, Imogen Heap, Dredg, Alice in Chains, Pendulum, Van Halen, Journey, Kansas, Dido, Reggie and the Full Effect, Royksopp, Wax Poetic, Fiona Apple, Matt Nathanson, John Mayer, CSS, The Kills, Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Black Sabbath, etc. Seriously, the list could go on...

Food: Anything my mother makes, I'm dead serious. The woman should have her own restaurant.

The six things I could never do without

Seeing that family and friends are now a given...

1. My laptop [with internet connection]

2. My phone (I never thought I'd be one of those people...)

3. A good book (or two)

4. A clock or anything that can tell me the time (I'm obsessed with knowing what time it is for no reason)

5. Chapstick/balms (I currently have over 16 at this point).

6. Coffee (I'm an addict. It's really not that funny or healthy).

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My family, friends, my future, and seemingly trivial things.

Nowadays I've been thinking a lot about graduate school and where I'll go, how I'll do, if I will wimp out at the last minute, that kind of normal everyday stuff. It's pretty deep, haha.

On a typical Friday night I am

Bar-hopping and getting crunked!

[Not really]

When I'm awake, I'm usually just hanging out with my friends till late, late night - the latest so far being 10 am the next day.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

. . .

Let's not.

You should message me if

You think you should.

If you accidentally hit F11 and freaked out a little bit until common sense bit you in the ass and pressed it again.

If you like Trial Mix cereal. It's amaaaaazing.

If you can handle sarcasm. In lethal doses.

If you like to randomly browse people's profiles for no real reason like I do.
