My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very social person with a strong dedication to my crew of friends but would like to take more advantage of the opportunities for new things out there. I have as much fun going out for a few pints as I do staying in and nerding it up with the dudes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Three years ago I got into the gaming industry as an RPG producer. It is basically my dream job and has been panning out better than I could hoped. Other than that, I'm pretty content spending my off-hours working on one of my numerous hobby projects.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Definitely the beard. Hard not to notice something that big at eye-level.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love to read but find myself short on time. When I do read I tend to stick to crap pulp fantasy/sci-fi novels. I also love epic poetry and Medieval texts, but don't read them start to finish that often, more a story here and there. The gamer in me demands spending a good amount of time poring over gaming books. The new job actually requires that I read whole mess of gaming books. Now that's the sort of responsibility that I can handle!

I rarely ever WATCH movies or TV, I tend to only listen to them while doing other things, usually painting or writing. However, I love media. There's really too many to name, but it's safe to say if it isn't a romantic comedy, I'll probably give it a chance.

I tend to gravitate towards Metal, rock and hphop, but have recently developed a taste for music I never would have thought I'd like. My usual mood these days has me listening to more Jungle than Opeth, more Die Antwoord than Queens of the Stone Age and more Wax Tailor than Garbage. I still listen to Nine Inch Nails all the damned time. And of course as a gamer I enjoy the odd soundtrack (video game, film, or TV, whichever).

I. Love. Food. I don't cook as often as I like but I love to eat out and try new restaurants. I try to avoid fast food when I can but my schedule forces me into it from time to time. Indian food is by far my favorite culinary tradition, though Vietnamese, Thai, and Greek follow closely behind.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Paints, My Friends, My Tunes, A Pencil and Pad (does that count as two?), My Beard (I tried getting rid of that once but it keeps coming back), my Imagination.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My newest (read: next) project, either for fun or for work. What should I paint next? What would be a cool scene in this RPG campaign? When should I sit down and start writing the background of this or that imaginary group, person, or event?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably taking it easy with the roommates or hanging out with this or that friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not really all that private of a person. Ask me anything, and I'm sure you'll get a straight answer.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are artistic, nerdy, open minded, and/or can handle a good dose of sarcasm.

Double-plus if you think it's silly that men are expected to make the first move. Triple-plus if you add to a conversation at least as much as I do. Especially since most women on here demand that a guy do better than one-line intros and responses. I only ask that if I put the work in, so do you.
