See I'm posting stuff; my poem The Embrace

The Embrace

Swifts neck road,
Two AM.
Surf caresses the beach,
A Black car alone in a lot,
Broken asphalt, broken shells,
And a man,
Made broken, and penitent by passion
In awe he watches and worships
The two women dancing naked in the rain
Under a street lamp they embrace;
Touching, kissing, loving each other
In a way only a women could love.
Isn’t it a wonderful thing when a man finds religion?

Odd feelings about turing 32?

Ok so Monday I turned 32 years old and well, I don't really feel old, but latley I definatley am feeling older! I keep thinking about the short story Bartleby, I always hated how the story ends with him just giving up on the world and "prefering not to do anything." It was really hard for me to understand when I was younger, Like what the F***, your just going to give up on the world and die. It is a really depressing story. But if you are a Pink Floyd fan, they have the same theme in the wall, Isolation leads to Decay.... Um, I was talking about turning 32 somewhere in this, um, well I am starting to feel maybe somedays "prefering to do nothing and giving into Isolation would be such a wonderfull thing to do! And I am not usually like that, but working 60 plus hours a week and making time to play with the kids and my sexy redheaded wife, well maybe a bit of iolation could be fun for a weekend. Does anyone else ever feel like this? -Seth
