I can be a shy one, but if people stick around long enough I will open up and make up for the shy times :-). I like people, I like to observe and connect.
I think there's a lot of beauty in life we don't often notice. I'm in a "counting my blessings" stage right now, and it feels pretty good to appreciate the many reasons we have to be happy, or to at least try.
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I love living in NY, but sometimes I still feel foreign, which is not necessarily a bad thing :-) I loooove it when it's hot and sticky out there, it reminds me of home, haha.
I love walking, can walk for hours. I also love movies and theatre, especially musicals, and food!

I went to school for a while, got a bachelors and a masters degree on something I am not doing right now, and have no desire to do. Realizing and accepting I didn't like what I had chosen was such a relief! Right now I have a day job that pays the bills, office stuff, not too hard.

Singing with my heart and soul. Being sweet. Eating amounts of food that seem too much to fit into my stomach. Cooking, especially hispanic food, and especially chicken! Math. Teaching, especially children. Walking really really fast. Dancing merengue, and salsa (maybe not technically that good, but good at loving it!)
