My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I am a person. A fun person. A fun man-person.

I pretty much like to do anything, go anywhere. I'm not very picky as far as activities go, and can find enjoyment in pretty much everything. Some of my favorites are: Trying new restaurants, dancing (in a semi-functional manner), karaoke (specifically, sucking at karaoke), sporting events (Brewers...), concerts, bowling, biking (via bicycle, not motorcycle. Sorry. I'm not very bad-ass), photography, mini-golf, etc. Honestly, I'm up to trying anything that doesn't involve us getting trapped in a dark alley with hordes of angry geriatrics attacking us with battle axes. I haven't watched enough movies to know how to defuse that particular situation. Either way, if you hang around me, you'll come to find I am more fun than a koala on methamphetamines (or so I assume.)

Relationship wise, I am really open. I would be more than happy to date or just gain another friend. I don't have huge expectations right now, and would really just like to see how things go.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I write for music website based in Europe. We mostly cover rock, though my music tastes have greatly expanded since I began in 2006. I'm in discussions with a couple other sites to write about music I'm more passionate about, such as folk rock, indie, and electronic music (on a freelance or permanent basis.)
My job consists of reviewing albums/shows, writing news stories, doing interviews, etc. I get a lot of fun opportunities -- free concerts being my favorite -- and all I have to do in return is write. Can't complain. I also scout bands for a US based label. Eventually I'm looking to have an A&R role to more closely work with musicians, but for now I enjoy what I do.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Writing.
-Making people laugh.
-High and/or low fives.
-Making good judgments (and spelling judgment correctly.)
-Sports (and getting injured playing sports.)
-Staying alive.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually notice when I'm standing about a foot away from them. Then there's uncomfortable silence, which they also notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Film: Amélie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, City of God, Airplane!, Monty Python and the Holy Grail/Life of Brian, Network, etc. This section was too long, but I love film.

Music: Again, just too much to list. I have ridiculous amounts of music, but I love folk rock especially. Rock and most of its sub-genres work as well. Singer-songwriters, EDM, trip-hop, indie pop, electronic, jazz, classical, funk, surf, so on and so forth. Favorite artist is Josh Ritter.

TV: Arrested Development, Always Sunny, The League, Archer, Six Feet Under, Dead Like Me, Fawlty Towers, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Community, How I Met Your Mother, Party Down, The Daily Show, Colbert Report

Food: Italian, Mexican, Indian and Persian are my favorites, but I enjoy pretty much everything. I've never been big into seafood, but I'm slowly coming around.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-My family
-Friends
-Music ('tis my passion)
-Laughter
-My GPS (not completely joking. OK, not joking at all.)
-Oxygen (it seems important, but I'm thinking of bumping it for my cell phone.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, and why anyone would invent the Shake Weight.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about causing a ruckus. Not really, but I just wanted to say "ruckus."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I lied about being good at high fives. Low fives I'm OK at.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like laughing, mini-adventures, good conversation, music, film, life, breathing, and not kicking people. You don't have to like ALL of these, but the not kicking people is pretty important.
