Intellectual chemistry. That's where it all starts with me. You know, the kind where you start a conversation and it just sort of lights on fire. If you know what I mean, let's chat - maybe we can make a spark!

I'm a high energy, intelligent woman who enjoys exploring new places and ideas. I love sunny days, good conversation, and laughing. I know (almost) all the words to American Pie, and am that crazy looking person singing at the top of my lungs in the car. I’m optimistic and often silly, and I walk the line between introverted and extroverted. I’m passionate about learning new things all the time. I enjoy being active and being outdoors. And I like to sleep with the window open for as much of the year as possible...until it gets so cold that I'm afraid it will kill my plants.

I'm looking for a relationship with plenty of laughter, passion, and fun, along with a deeper connection. I love a guy with a quick wit. I want to find someone to live "in orbit with" - two independent, whole people, who are connected by a sort of gravitational force and who increase each others' joy, while each retaining their independent identities. I believe life is meant to be lived 110% - you won’t find me holding back a laugh because I’m trying to look cool, or worrying too much about what other people think of me. I've got a solid job that I enjoy, and I'm learning a lot there...and still working on figuring out what the "dream job" might be. Family and friends are very important to me, so I spend lots of time with them; I also need some alone time and try to carve out space for that as well.

Um....well, not bragging, that's for sure! I'm a good singer... I'm working on my photography skills...oh, and I'm GREAT at taking naps. :)

OK, here's a thing about me. I'm horrible at picking favorites. I have electic tastes and far too many interests, and it all depends on my mood I like to think it's part of my charm. :) But I can tell you that I always have a song in my head, I'm usually in the middle of at least 3 books, I don't watch much TV because there's too much other stuff to do, and I like movies but don't see enough of them.

"Big ideas" - I like strategy and analysis stuff. How should we roll out a particular program at work? What are the connections between academic fields that sometimes seem rather separate? How can I best apply my interests and gifts in a way that will fulfill me and also help the world? Oh, and how the heck do I get that photo to look right??!

There is no "typical" - I could be at home reading a book, out shooting photographs, at a friend's house helping with a bathroom renovation, petsitting a buddy's dog....the possibilities are endless!

I'm quite willing to share things...but you know, sharing private things is supposed to be part of getting to know each other, and it helps develop emotional intimacy. So I'm not really gonna put anything here.
