My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Adam and I am an unabashed geek.

I am a generally laid back person who experiences occasional bouts of incredible energy. I am polyamorous, geeky, kinky, and pansexual, to name some of the labels that can be attached to me. I like to play with fire, sharp objects, and people's perceptions of what you can do with your life.

I spend a lot of time gaming, either on a table top, on my laptop, or in Live Action games. I love exploring new worlds and creating interactive stories for people, which is why I am usually on the other side of the screen. If you enjoy gaming or talking about the mechanics of a system or just want to learn more about it then we will get along fabulously. I also play a lot of Android Netrunner, which is an awesome cyber-noir LCG set in the indeterminate future, which appeals to me on so many levels!

The rest of my life is filled with things like the Renaissance Faire, modelling, fire spinning, being on either end of a whip, doing occasional adult film work, and trying to build a better craft room. I work out of my house or across multiple county lines depending on the day and I either walk or ride the bus everywhere, so if you ever see a tall, skinny dude with giant headphones on, that is probably me (Or my doppelganger, I have heard they are out there. Be warned, I don't know if they are the evil one or not.)

I strive to find a balance between aesthetics and practicality in my life and it sometimes leads me to doing silly things for the sake of my mental quirks. Usually I am aware of it and if I am not I have heard that it is a sight to behold as my facial expressions match my mental gymnastics. Occasionally I will talk to myself or think that I have been talking to you when in fact I have just been thinking through a conversation, so you have been warned. I am a INFP or INTP depending on the day and my mood.

I used to perform regularly at the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the NuArt Theater in Santa Monica, portraying everyone's favorite asshole, Brad Majors. I also used to preform there every six months, portraying Hedwig of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and showing off just how good I looked in six inch heels, but that ended a bit after my Rocky days.

I am always looking to make new friends, explore new ideas, go on walks, have coffee and weird conversations, and collaborate on weird and/or silly projects.

PS. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about eight months ago, so I am a bit less active then I used to be. I'm working on acclimating to my new, painful existence, so be aware that I will occasionally cancel on things because of my health. I like to be upfront about my health conditions because they are a big part of my day to day life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a leather artisan and a self-employed small business owner. I make custom leather goods and travel to various conventions and events to sell my work, as well running a shop online. You can check out my work on Etsy ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/SmartPencilDesigns?ref=si_shop ).
I am working on expanding my business and increasing my product base while maintaining a social life.

I am also a part time model, fire performer, and adult film performer, sometimes all at the same time. I am comfortable with nudity, fire on my skin, and being on camera.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning new things, going on adventures, and having intellectual conversations. I am artistically minded and I enjoy working with my hands. I make a mean White Russian (seriously, there is no better) and I love to play board games that make me think. Give me a puzzle of some sort and I will either solve it remarkably quickly or spend the rest of the day agonizing over the solution.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Normally it how tall I am, I usually stand a head above my friends, even when I slouch. I often get remarks on how skinny I am as well and am frequently threatened with food as a result.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I enjoy a rather wide variety of subjects and topics, though I have a fondness and soft spot for science fiction and fantasy across all mediums. My loves are too many to list here (and quite a bit for you to slog through) though I am always available to give suggestions if you are looking for something new. A few of my favorite books are On The Road by Jack Kerouac, Rant by Chuck Palahnuik, Junior by Macaulay Culkin, The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, and Anathem by Neal Stephenson. My musical tastes run along the lines of Metal and Electronica, a mix between Marylin Manson, Massive Attack, Tool, She Wants Revenge, Puscifer, and The Faint to name a few. I love beautiful, meaningful vocal tracks, as well as music I can dance to. My taste in movies runs along with my taste in books, with a leaning towards intellectual comedies and dramas. And as far as food goes, I am willing to try most things, though I am allergic to onions.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
*Netflix. I use it all of the time, mainly while I am working, and it keeps me sane while I am mass producing pieces before an event.
*Roleplaying Games. I am huge nerd and I love gaming in all forms. I play table top games, board games, and even run a LARP as part of an international organization.
*A Pencil and sketchbook. Even though I have fallen out of the habit of drawing everyday, I still immensely enjoy sitting down and bringing my thoughts to life.
*Fire performance. I have been a fire performer for about a year now, and it is an amazing experience and I can't go a week without practicing with my staff or doing a fire eating routine.
*The Beach. I grew up traveling around the country living on military bases until I was twelve. Then I moved to California and my life has never been the same since. I have sworn to myself that I will never live more than an hour from the beach and so far I have kept that promise.
*Puns. They are the highest form of humor in my opinion, a sign of true intelligence, and something you should expect from me quite regularly. My most recent is: Why did the Irish Ant hate the English Ant? Because he was a ProtestAnt.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future of my business, the projects I am working on, and the amazing innovations that I read about every day. The world is progressing so quickly, changing in front of our eyes everyday and it is amazing to think about where we will be in just a few years.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having people over to play board games and drink, or going out into the world to go to club or an adventure or something as equally awesome.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my biggest fears is losing my hands. Also, I am very open person, so if you ever want to know something about me, all you have to do is ask.

You think I am interesting or cute or just want to meet up, hang out, or anything. I am always interested in meeting new people, so I will probably want to meet you. Also, if I click like on you but don't message that means I interested in you but I'm lacking the words to start a conversation or am feeling particularly shy, so you should totally message me :)
