My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Stuart, I'm an outdoors/animal person but with a strong tech interest. Working on my fitness and designing, building and crashing things in my spare time. Im looking for someone who has an equally relaxed approach to life and enjoys a good joke as well as all the bad ones.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a power plant, I go running frequently, usually fairly short distances, through as much mud as possible.
Just started at Canterbury college, hopefully learning some useful stuff for various ongoing tech projects.
Every so often I dabble with Maya/blender for 3d modelling, and intend to turn it into a fullscale hobby with a 3d printer shortly.

Also building quadcopters in my spare time, made a simple one and working on something that could be considered a drone now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Bad jokes, elaborate pranks and landing on my feet.

Or slightly more seriously, been horseriding long enough to be quite good, but not tried any competitive stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, though I don't think I'm actually that tall, I suspect this means that most people I know are just a bit short.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite author has to be Iain M Banks, tend to read a mix of sci-fi / fantasy / horror. F.ex: A Song of Ice and Fire series, The Dark Tower series, and recently stuff by H P Lovecraft (Cthulhu Mythos) but quite honestly I enjoy reading just about anything.
Currently reading through Isaac Asimovs works.

Can't really name a favorite, so i'll just list a few that spring to mind. The Matrix, Interstellar, LoTR, Dredd, Hot Fuzz, Gravity, Also enjoy the marvel films.

Feels like I have a lot to catch up on, working through Fringe, but intend to get back to Arrow/Flash afterwards.
I've recently been working my way through the first few Archer series and enjoying them a lot. Also the Game of Thrones series is brilliant but proving hard to guess what's coming next now.

Mainly rock/metal, though there's bits and pieces from just about every genre that I enjoy. To name a few: Amon Amarth, God is an Astronaut, Gormathon, Dan Bull, The Music, Johnny Cash, Sabaton, ZZ Top, VNV Nation, Bathory + various soundtracks. I think that's suitably all over the place.

Mexican, traditional English, Italian, Indian. Not keen on seafood, most of it if scaled up could work as the monster in a horror movie.

Will give most things a go, though if anyone else is playing hearthstone, happy to have a match at Storm#2958
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
New music of any sort really
My Dog, always the first thing I miss when away.
Fresh air, or a daily escape to somewhere quiet at least.
Sci/tech news to try and remain optimistic
A good amount of sleep.
Some goal to chase, however out of reach it seems.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What difference I can make, focusing on building/creating things at the moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Shift worker i'm afraid, but not really interested in drinking culture anyway. If there's anything good on at the cinema i'll be there, otherwise either out for a evening run, or in and maybe catching up on some missed high culture (stuff on netflix)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not grown out of the whole wanting to be an astronaut thing yet. Not sure if that counts as private or stupid.

If you have any similar interests really, maybe if you fancy yourself as a pilot for a quadcopter (drone), need someone a bit better at it than me!
