My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Stuart, I'm an outdoors/animal person working on my fitness and designing, building and crashing things in my spare time. Im looking for someone who has an equally relaxed approach to life and enjoys a good joke as well as all the bad ones.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a power plant, I go running frequently, usually fairly short distances, through as much mud as possible.
Every so often I dabble with Maya/blender for 3d modelling, and ponder if I should turn it into a fullscale hobby with a 3d printer.

Also building quadcopters in my spare time, made a simple one and working on something that could be considered a drone now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Bad jokes, elaborate pranks and landing on my feet.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, though I don't think I'm actually that tall, I suspect this means that most people I know are just a bit short. Also, typically not drinking, this is usually seen as me being awkward until they realise I can drive them home.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Just started the Hydrogen Sonata by Iain M Banks, tend to read a mix of sci-fi / fantasy / horror. F.ex: A Song of Ice and Fire series, The Dark Tower series, and recently stuff by H P Lovecraft (Cthulhu Mythos) but quite honestly I enjoy reading just about anything.

Can't really name a favorite, so i'll just list a few that spring to mind. The Matrix, Interstellar, LoTR, new Star Trek film series, Dredd, Hot Fuzz.

I've recently been working my way through the first few Archer series and enjoying them a lot. Also the Game of Thrones series is brilliant, not much else at the mo, can't decide what to look at next on netflix.

Mainly rock/metal from Europe, though there's bits and pieces from just about every genre that I enjoy. To name a few: Amon Amarth, Gormathon, Dan Bull, The Music, Johnny Cash, Sabaton, VNV Nation, Bathory + various soundtracks. I think that's suitably all over the place.

Really like mexican at the moment.

I play a fair few pc games, won't go into specifics, but i can be found on steam at
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
New music of any sort really
My Dog, always the first thing I miss when away.
Fresh air, or a daily escape to somewhere quiet at least.
Sci/tech news to try and remain optimistic
A good amount of sleep.
Some goal to chase, however out of reach it seems.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What difference I can make, focusing on building/creating things now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not grown out of the whole wanting to be an astronaut thing yet. Not sure if that counts as private or stupid.

If you have any similar interests really, some sort of technology obsession would probably be good. Also some basic tolerance of metal, not all of us are born with good taste.
