My Self-Summary
Hello! I am just curious to see what kind of people are out there.
I am a very laid back, mellow woman with a sharp wit. I get along
well with most people (haha) and I'm all about having a good time
and showing respect no matter what. I don't have any major issues
in my life and I'm not one to complain. I'm straight forward,
honest, and I make people feel comfortable when they're around me.
I say what I have to say, but I do it with tact. I respect people's
beliefs and am cool about what people choose to do with their lives
as long as they don't get too preachy (yes, preachy... I make up
words on the spot) with me. I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or do
drugs; it's just not my thing, but it doesn't bother me if others
choose to do it.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I teach and am also going to school. I haven't quite
figured out what my passion is, but I'm gettin' there. Life's good.
I’m really good at
Haha, this is too funny. I guess I'm really good at being a dork. I
laugh at things that might not be funny to other people. I'm also
good at helping others (ugh, that sounds so arrogant, right?!) and
staying as genuine as possible. Oh, and I'm REALLY good at
baking/cooking. That's right! I can throw it down (or "throwdown"
Bobby Flay style) in the kitchen!
The first things people usually notice about me
A lot of people tend to notice how serious looking I am. I am not a
huge smiler at first. I have a really serious face and people might
perceive that as being stand-offish when in reality it's just the
face my parents made. When I first meet someone I tend to observe a
lot and sometimes my quietness can be taken as arrogance... and I
promise it's not like that. I just like to feel the vibe... test
the waters. But I really am a nice person! Cross my heart!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I really enjoy non-fiction books, but will read anything. I enjoy
authors like Reinaldo Arenas and Mitch Albom... also, the poetry of
Pablo Neruda is something amazing. I listen to almost all music...
not into the screamo, heavy metal, satanic stuff. I like food; I
like to cook/bake for others... it brings everyone together. Not a
big fan of Asian food though. I like all those cooking/travel shows
on Bravo and the Travel Channel.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about my family a lot especially my niece. She is the most
amazing little girl... plus, she's a spitting image of me when I
was her age. I think about getting things done and what I want/need
to accomplish.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most Friday nights I will stay in and watch a movie, go to the gym,
and go out to dinner with my family. If I need to get out, I will
hang out with my friends and go to a bar (I don't drink though
haha), go bowling, go dancing, have a girl's night out, etc.

Wow, I've no clue. Hmmm... I like to dance to 80s music after I
shower.
