My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
As is this post, I am a work in progress. I moved to Florida five ago, and even though Orlando has always been a home away from home, I am still discovering my place here. I have the unique ability to get lost, in even the most familiar places. Sometimes it's more fun to get lost and enjoy the journey than to ever arrive at your destination.

I love to dance...and find myself shimmying regularly throughout the day..even when I don't realize I'm doing it. I also love to laugh. But more so, I love to make people laugh..although it's almost always by accident. My 'blonde moments' keep me humble, and I am the first to make fun of myself.

Working out is a large part of my life. As a former gymnast of 15 years, it's hard for me to keep my feet on the ground. I am completely addicted to cardio and work out 6-7 days a week. I have been running more seriously for the last 5 years and race half marathons and marathons a couple times throughout the year...primarily because I like getting medals : ).

My career has been the primary focus of my life up until now. I am an educated professional and put my heart into my work. Despite the success I have found thus far, I am still figuring out what I want to do 'when I grow up.' In fact, I am beginning to think one advanced degree isn't enough for me. At the same time, I would love to find someone to spend my life with. I am to the point where serious meaningful relationships are no longer scary and are now the happy ending I am looking for.

I don't tolerate prejudice, meanness, or superficiality. Lines are just lines, so empty compliments are lost on me. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. I appreciate sincerity, passion, and good humor. Intelligence is sexy! As is a healthy sense of humor. Most importantly, be you!

My faults: I may be a tad sarcastic. And I'm known for answering questions with questions. I can be completely indecisive (..yet quite easy long as someone is helping make decisions!). And last but not least, I am stubborn and can get quite competitive (usually more so with myself....but get me in the right context, and I'll give it a go). I don't back down easily, so be ready to put your game face on.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am passionate, motivated and focused. I give my heart to people and to my life. If you're not going to give it your all, don't do it at all. I work hard and take my career seriously and will not tolerate anyone who questions my dedication or work ethic. Love what you do, and do it damn well.

I am a certifiable nerd. I was valedictorian of my high school...had perfect attendance kindergarten through 12th grade...and the only non-A I ever received in 19 years of schooling was a B+ in Pharmacology I in pharmacy school (..which quite honestly bothers me to this day).

*nerd alert!* gotta own it : )
