My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm losing my edge to the kids whose footsteps I hear when they get on the decks...

Hey! Down here... Geez! Get your eyes off my profile picture. I am much more than a piece of meat.

Anyways, a little about myself...

I have an great career that I love, and when I am not working, I love spending time with friends, family (especially my adorable nephew), cooking a delicious meal, seeing an concert, or exploring this amazing planet. This is a perfect antidote to any long work day/week.

This would be an fantastic time to claim I am a "foodie." That seems like a common theme. What are the qualifications? I sure hope I meet the prerequisites? I do love to masticate.

Looking for my proverbial partner-in-crime...

I am talking petty crime. Sorry but we are not going to hold up banks together.

On a serious note... I yearn to achieve great things in life and partake in incredible adventures. However, I would love to meet that special someone who I can experience all the trials and tribulations.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mom, is that you?

I did not realize you went to school for computer engineering and designed these OKC questions. Yet alone took computer programming classes.

Currently I am working as an associate at a private equity firm in their accounting and finance department that oversees all of the umbrella investments.

Also, I hate to admit this but I invented leather jogging pants. Ignore whatever Kanye West tells the media because he stole my idea.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I was in a mildly-successful high school rock band.

If it were not for all the sex, drugs and rock and roll stuff we would probably be touring the elder care circuit.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People typically notice my strong jawline. Some say I remind them of a young George Clooney.

Obviously that is ridiculous.

My jawline bares a much closer resemblance to Ryan Gosling's.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Slaughterhouse Five, On The Road, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Wind Up Bird Chronicles, Cloud Atlas and Dune. I stole this list from a High School english class list. I did not read all of these books. I did however read the Cliff Note versions.

Movies: American Beauty, City of God, Breaking Upwards, There Will Be Blood, Twin Peaks (Fire Walk With Me), My Blue Heaven and History of the World Part 1. Best part of the movie. I did not have to read the book.

TV: Anthony Bourdain, Always Sunny, Iron chef, Chopped, Homeland, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks, LOST, Arrested Development, Downton Abbey, Portlandia, The Killing, The Fringe, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

Food: Mexican, Pho (Or as Americans call it Foe), Arepas, Hokkien Mee, Pork Buns, Pizza, Ramen (the real kind), Peruvian, Anything slow-cooked, anything smoked (ie: BBQ) and Sushi.

Music: Radiohead, Pearl Jam, The Clash, Led Zeppelin, Fleet Foxes, The Who, The Black Keys, The White Stripes (Jack White), Gary Clarke Jr, Alt-J, The Maldives, Arcade Fire, Father John Misty, Sigur Ros, Wilco, LCD Soundsystem, The Chromatics, My Morning Jacket, Spiritualized, The Knife, Bat For Lashes, New Order, Joy Division, Deep Sea Diver, Sinkane, Sharon Van Etten, Kurt Vile, The Knife, The Pixies, Tame Impala, How To Dress Well and Rose Windows.

Honestly, regarding music it is hard to encapsulate every band or genre that I like. Music is an important part of my life (day). I enjoy balancing my hard work with finding and listening to new (and old) music. Now I just sound like a hipster. Perhaps I am?!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- "Six things I could never do without" questions

- Menudo

- Restrooms

- A great tan

- Keytar necktie

- Steely Dan (Not the band)

- Internet cafe (I'm in one right now googling Jon Stamos)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What my next meal or concert will be.

Do Danes eat danishes?

If so...

Is that considered genocide?

Was that a terrible joke?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night I'm in search of New York's best sushi restaurant or cooking a big meal. And, ideally, going to a show later on - either hip-hop or classical, because I'm iconoclastic like that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I take cooking classes. I do not admit this to my friends. "Oh hey guys! Want to make an herb-crusted lamb together?" That might not go over so well?

This is a silly question...

I hate to admit but I own a iguana. If you want to meet my pet iguana then hit me up.
