My self-summary
I'll be honest with you, I'm Indiana Jones in Woody Allen's body. If short neurotic nerds that conquer mountains is your thing, then you've come to right profile

I'm straight out of The OC via Tennessee.
SoCal chill with southern hospitality.
What I’m doing with my life
What am I doing for work?
I produce live events. It's the perfect gig for anyone that has said pass on a film/TV career. It's not as glamorous, but I like to think I travel more and have the most fun.

What I'm doing personally?
I'm trying to challenge myself, mentally and physically. Living my life as if it might be a finite existence. It is? Well, then I need to make most of it.

I recently trekked to Everest Base Camp, and since then I feel like anything is possible. Next stop, the moon!
I’m really good at
Schemes, plots, plans; imagine a Lex Luthor that wants to have a better day than the last. Goodness, that sounds pretentious, but I really can be a criminal mastermind of having fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm the uber-nerd. Part Morrissey, a dash of Doctor Who, and a heaping spoonful of Peter Parker (pre-spider bite)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This can get real crazy, so I'll try and keep it simple:

Music:The XX, Crystal Castles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, PJ Harvey, Decemberists, Belle & Sebastian, The Smiths, Destroyer, Rhianna, anything Damon Albarn is involved with. And the holy trinity of The Jam, The Clash, The Specials

Film: Trainspotting, most Cohen Brothers films, Empire Strikes Back, CQ, All Wes Anderson films (even Life Aquatic), Another Earth,

The small screen: Arrested Development, early Simpsons, Community, 30 Rock, The Wire, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad

Books: Krakauer, Kundera, Salinger, Fitzgerald, Bourdain, Capote, Harper Lee, Blume, and my absolute favorite, Douglas Coupland.

And here's where I let my geek flag fly:
Doctor Who, Lost, Grant Morrison, Star Wars and Trek, Brian K Vaughn, Fables, Geoff Johns, The Muppets, Fringe, 80's Spielberg films, Christopher Nolan, Twilight Zone, Battle Royale, and shame on a thirtysomething male for saying this, The Hunger Games.

I'm not really a big sports guy, but I'm in the Vikings Army, and support the Red Bulls. If you want to experience American soccer at it's best, I can show you.
The six things I could never do without
Old friends
New adventures
Borrowed time
Blue skies
Tea with milk & honey
My glasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to go? How to get there? What to do? Where to eat? Do I need a car? Should I go to Seattle instead? Love Seattle. It's a bit of a obsession, not Seattle, but travel. Ok maybe Seattle a little bit. Heck, the emerald city got name checked four times just now.

Update: Portland has totally won me over. If I ever left NYC, Portland would probably be my destination.

Anyhow, I travel a lot for work, and that enables me to travel a bit for fun. It's not quite "Up In The Air", but not too far from it. It's also like "Into Thin Air", I'm obsessed with mountains.
On a typical Friday night I am
On planet Earth. That's the only thing typical to my Fridays ( same can be said for the 6 other nights)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm fairly modest but, I know I'd be an awesome boyfriend, companion, partner in crime.

Or if that's not intriguing, I had a very short career with the NYPD
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 27–38
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are nice. Kindness is a commodity worth more than gold.

If you want to have fun, you want to discuss matters mundane and life altering, and you believe that cynicism is an ugly outdated way of thinking.

Or you"ll help me jump out of a perfectly good airplane

Also, if you realize a first date is not time enough to judge a person's character. It just isn't. No romance? If there's still the possibility of platonic adventures, sign me up! Not opposed to romance, I'm just a proponent of meeting new people
