Not quite sure what to write, to make myself seem different from everybody else on here.

I'm 26, single, looking for someone with common interests to me, or to introduce me to new stuff I wouldn't have thought of before!

Once I get to know people I'm fairly outgoing, but I'm sometimes a quiet person.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm an electronics engineer, in a full-time job that I love. That means computery stuff, which always comes in handy I'm told!

When I'm not at work, I love riding my bike, getting to the gym to keep fit (I was training for a half marathon but injuries have set me back a bit), watching films, going to see live music, and also playing my own music - I sing and play bass (looking for a band). Sometimes it's great just to have a night in though.

I’m really good at

I'm told I'm brainy, and that I'm a good listener. I'm always honest about how I feel, but at the same time caring and compassionate. I can cook, to an extent.

The first things people usually notice about me

It used to be my long blond hair, but thats been cut back now.
When I'm out of work I'll probably be wearing a band shirt.

Beyond that, my boyish smile I guess :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Is there anything more epic than Dune?

Movies: Anything with Michael Caine in from the 70's, cheesey action films, sci-fi, I'll even watch a romantic comedy with the right person.

Music: Classic rock, bands such as Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Rush, The Who, Deep Purple, Metallica, AC/DC, Dream Theater, Motorhead

Food: Anything except Chinese, I'm particularly fond of Indian, Mexican and Italian.

The six things I could never do without

My bass guitar, CD player, kitchen, bike, car (for when bike isn't practical!), my cat Pudding :)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How I could write a computer program to solve hard sudoku puzzles (so far it only solves easy ones..)

On a typical Friday night I am
