I'm a photographer, computer programming, writer/dancer, who loves philosophy and religion (studying, not practicing), and falls in and out of the film industry working on various documentaries. I am more likely to get things done when I don't think about them. I love little adventures along with the large kind, and I travel as often as my budget and time allows.

Nothing is better than laughter, period.
And I am an insomniac, although I tend to drug myself to sleep more often than not these days.

I haven't put any real effort into updating my profile since I wrote the above years ago, but it all still holds, I just don't think I would write it the same today. I'm no longer freelance, so there is a light heartedness that's gone, I think I can cut the tether and remain in the world. I think. I love my job, it's all strategy, magic, and leading me towards my dreams. There is less running, which is both a good and bad thing.

We'll see in a week. Do Not ask me what's happening in a week.

A lot of people call me a Jack of All Trades. A lot of people are wrong.

How utterly pale I am.

I don't have favorites, but things I enjoy that may say something about me are Doctor Who, Firefly, Secretary, But I'm a Cheerleader, Boondock Saints, Newsies, Trembling Before God, the special feature in Saved where Patrick Fugit and Macaulay Culkin makeout, Wraeththu, The Guide of the Perplexed, Lolita, Heart of Darkness, Dante's Inferno, The Symposium, The Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses, the old school computer game Manhole, and broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl.

I realize most of these are not in my favorite section because I think they are the best pieces of work, but because they have special place in my heart, inspired me in some way, or make me dance around my room alone with no music.

The last one recently, sadly, no longer makes me dance, but instead fill me with an overwhelming feeling of regret.
