Okay. Here it goes. These things are so very un-fun to write! What makes me an interesting person? I believe I am very adventurous, open minded, kind-hearted, intelligent, curious, humorous and at times incredibly dorky. I have about a million interests. People often describe me as a Jack-Of-All-Trades, which I am quick to respond with Master-of-None. Things that I enjoy the most would have to be (in no particular order) Scuba Diving, Skydiving, MUSIC, Anime, Tattoos, Theater, Odd Movies, Backpacking, Rafting, Snowboarding, Traveling, Poetry, Playing at Open Mic, did I mention music? I also love my dualsport motorcycle, and one day hope to ride it to the southernmost tip of South America. Not a whole lot makes me happier than to pack it up and ride into the mountains for a weekend. I guess I am somewhat a contradiction in the sense that I LOVE the country and the outdoors but at the same time love being in the city, watching obscure films, plays and concerts etc. It is just about impossible to disconnect either of these polar opposite sides of me. You could just as easily find me welding or knitting.. I will read a political/scientific/philosophical book one night, and Japanese Manga/cartoon/comic another.. Basically I'm a big geek that loves to have fun and learn as much as i can from the world around me.

Currently, I am living in Monroe Washington and enjoying being near old friends as I have moved around the country for the past several years. I am working as a machine operator at a foundry, which is interesting (for now). I love learning how things work. which is probably why I have had such varied job experiences... from being an offshore commercial diver, to building sets for music videos, forklift driver, nanny lol... you name it! Lately I have been busy installing safety programs for my company, which I really enjoy and hope to work my way into a full time position in that field.

I am really good at... learning new things, making friends, karaoke, Juggling, seeing multiple sides to every argument, judging character. I have a penchant for languages. I love stripping words down to their basic form or root, and realizing why they mean what they mean in whichever language. I am also a very hard worker with a dedicated work ethic. I think that is a trait that carries over to many parts of a persons life.

I guess physically most comments are in regards to my eyes or my long curly hair. As far as the non-physical people often tell me i am energetic, smart and creative.

i can hardly even begin to talk about books and music... it may go on forever, there are just tooo many to list. A few authors I enjoy are: Ayn Rand, Chuck Palahniuk, Paulo Coehlo, Carl Sagan, Herbert Marcuse, Douglas Copeland, Douglas Adams, Hunter S Thompson, William S Burrows, Phillip K Dick, Russ Kick, Steven D Levitt, Brian Greene

for music i have very eclectic tastes, and listen to such a variety that most people think i'm just a big weirdo!

movies = Run Lola Run, Amelie, Nightwatch, The City of Lost Children, Army of Darkness/Evil Dead, Boondock Saints, Being John Malcovich, Princess Bride, Goonies, Snatch, Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy, Omega Man, Planet Terror. I love Samurai/martial arts films(anything from old Kurosawa flicks to Hero/crouching tiger/house of flying daggers) Monty Python, Casablanca, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, Serenity, Charlotte's Web (the old one), Spaghetti Westerns and Italian gore are always fun. Some directors I enjoy are lucio fulci, umberto lenzi, david cronenberg. Honestly I'm pretty diverse but very picky, strange mix. I also have a massive love for Theatre, and enjoy seeing plays as often as possible, from small community theatre to broadway performances. Well known musicals to off the wall improv. I have not seen a professional Opera and would love to one of these days.

I LOVE music and books from many different genres. It is easy for me to believe that the world would be just fine if I could only eat Thai and Indian food.... Though I do love, and keep waiting to get too old for, macaroni and cheese...

The past, the future, the present. Why people do the things they do.. Starving people in far away countries and why it seems to be nobody's problem. What I heard last on NPR.. what song to do for next weeks open mic night. a plethora of useless things hehe

Probably recovering from a week of too much music and work and not enough sleep! (strangely enough Friday is my 'laid back night') Though I will go out if there is something interesting going on that I cannot miss.. Which can easily be said about a lot of things.

1. I'm not really good at juggling.. in fact, I don't even know how to juggle... that was a lie up there... i just wanted to be cool!

2. When I first created my profile, I was a 100% match with myself... Now I have fallen to a 96%. What is that supposed to mean?

You have a healthy sense of both humor and adventure. If you can teach the worlds most clumsy girl how to juggle. You have a never ending list of 'things to do' in your life, which you plan to continue to check things off of. You like the idea of melding that list with another person someday, and checking things off together.... and last of all, if you are not scared yet ;)
