My self-summary
Hello my name is Will. I love to laugh and make others laugh. My interests include, but are definitely not limited to, the study of/discussion of religion, racquetball, philosophy, anthropology, language, books, food (cooking and eating), science, yoga, how to survive the apocalypse/zombie invasion, and music. One of the hardest decisions in my life so far was choosing my major (I had like 10 different things that I wanted to get into), maybe too many things interest me, but it seems like life would be boring without my sense of curiosity. I have a pretty dark sense of humor. I love meeting new people and honestly I'm a bit shy but I warm up to people quickly. Also, my Myers-Briggs designation is INFJ if you're curious about that.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated with a B.A. in history, ask about my what my focus was if you're interested. I'm planning on teaching in Japan at some point in the near future, but in the meantime, I'm working on some IT certifications. A long-term dream of mine has been to open a bakery or coffee/tea shop... or maybe both combined into some unholy flaky-caffeinated monstrosity. I'm probably drinking some tea. right. now.
I’m really good at
Cooking, DIYing, I would like to say gardening... but every bonsai I've ever planted has died (I blame the squirrels) at least the vegetables survived :I, listening, brainstorming, telling stories, eating with chopsticks.
The first things people usually notice about me
Smile and eyes.
I guess, 'cause those are the things people are always complimenting me on, those and my handshake.

The six things I could never do without
1. Friends
2. A clear night sky (hopefully with minimal light pollution)
3. Trees
4. Fall and winter
5. Books
6. I guess the internet, however cliched that is.

HM: the moon, I love that thing. I wish it had a breathable atmosphere and I could go up there and run around.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Culture, books, the news, the Japanese language, random odd things that I see or hear about. Helping my former English major friends brainstorm story ideas, this usually turns into a shouting, cross-talking storm of the century that usually ends with someone on the floor laughing their ass off and the other scrambling for a digital recorder or scrap of paper to record the brain-child before it evaporates.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical Friday night involves going with my friends downtown to our favorite bar, drinking a couple of beers and talking about whatever. Board games and aimless wanderings around town may follow. Cookie baking while watching a movie or a TV show isn't out of the question either.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ive been told that the tortoise is my spirit animal. Other than that most people are surprised when I say I was adopted, doesn't bother me, though.
You should message me if
If you'd like to watch a show together on skype, or grab a coffee sometime.

You need someone to play racquetball or go to the gym with.

I am trying to look for a serious relationship here, but I'm not opposed to some new friends. I love meeting and talking with people about anything, regardless! :D
