Hello! I was born and raised in Portland but have spent the last few years in New York at school, and I'm glad to be back on the West Coast! I'm a fairly relaxed and and easy-going person, but I have high aspirations in life. I love to have great conversations with people over a cup of coffee/tea. I'm not looking for anything too serious at first unless it becomes that, which is fine too.

I really enjoy the outdoors and love going on day hikes. I have a goal to visit all the National Parks eventually. I've been to 8/58...it's a start! Grand Tetons are by far my favorite but Yellowstone is a close second. I also love international travel, and I wish I had the time and funds to do it more often. Recently, I spent a 10 days running around Florence and Venice with my sister.

I know it's one of the taboo subjects at first, but I love talking about current events and politics. During college I sort of stayed in a "bubble", but now I'm trying to stay informed more and discussing with others their ideas on recent issues.

I have a mild fear of elevators.

I recently graduated from college in the Northeast. I eventually plan on pursuing a PhD in psychology but want some time away from school for a bit. I'm interested mainly in pediatric health psychology.

Currently, I'm involved with chronic pain research at OHSU, and I also have one of those wonderful part-time jobs in customer service in retail.
