My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you want to know more about me, just ask!

I would assume I'm pretty much like any other 20-something individual these days. Work keeps me occupied, but it's the other hours of the day after I get home which I look to fill with (hopefully) some good company.

Some other quick hits about me: ---If my pictures don't give it away, I love the A's. But along with baseball, I love the A's co-tenants at the ol' O.co coliseum: the Raiders. ---Travelling is a big passion as well. ---I've noticed that I don't take selfies (If that tells you anything about my personality). ---I'm currently a fitbit user. ---I'm an avid poker player. ---I do a lot of (snow) skiing in the wintertime ---I love board games. Not just your classics like monopoly and scrabble, but other thought-provoking games like Pandemic and Ticket to Ride (to name a few). ---I'm currently registered for two half marathons in the next eight months. ---I love my phablet ---I know all internet memes ---I tend to quote movies/TV a lot...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working 40-45 hour weeks, and hopefully something fun planned for the weekend.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...lots of things. Such as:

-Knowing random facts about useless subjects
-Valuing your opinion, or the opinions of others
-Running around a soccer field for 90 minutes
-Taking care of my money, yet give the illusion that I'm careless.
-Staying up way later than I planned
-Being able to google almost any information. If it's on the web, it can't hide from me.
-Pulling all-nighters in a casino poker room, hopefully not losing all my money
-Telling you directions on where to go, and then realizing there was a faster route than I suggested.
-Skiing
-Getting lost in a wiki-chain

...and lots more but you'll just have to find out
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People say I look Hawaiian. [spoiler] I'm not
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
Currently (re)reading Superfreakonomics

Shows:
Community (best show ever), Shark Tank, Anything on ESPN or NFL Network, The Office, HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, any show involving Gordon Ramsey

Movies:
I'm not afraid to admit I'm partly nerdy, so Star Wars (original trilogy only), Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption, Sleepless in Seattle and it's sister movie You've got Mail, Rudy, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Rush Hour 1 and 2, and 40 Year Old Virgin.

Music:
I have an eclectic taste, but if you can pick up the hint from my username, you win a million bonus points. Other than the usual top 40 stuff, I am pretty confident when I say the best period of music was 90's to early 2000's. And I do enjoy music from other cultures. Just because we don't speak the language, doesn't mean we can't enjoy the music.

Food:
I eat pretty much anything and everything. I have yet to encounter a type or culture of food that I didn't like. It's safe to call me a human vacuum.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Access to sports scores
2. Enjoyable company
3. A good joke
4. Frequent vacations and weekend getaways.
5. A bowl of hurricane popcorn
6. A soccer ball.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. Who doesn't?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
This is where I would put the standard "spending it out with friends" response. And on some Friday nights, that would be the correct answer. But seeing as how my friends and I are not as young as we once were, more and more adult things dominate our lives. So on a random Friday night, there's an equal chance that I'm simply at home, unwinding from a long work week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I go to Vegas...a lot. I average one trip every 2 months. But don't get any crazy ideas about what I do during my trips. If you want to know what I do there, the answer has already been mentioned in this profile!
