My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, what to say? I am a UX Designer, picture ninja, bubble wrap addict, and a pretty decent cook (I grew up in restaurants). I'm direct because I don't believe that sugar coating something gets you anywhere. The upside is you'll always know where you stand with me. I'm a city person. I went to college in Stevens Point, and while a great school, not a fan of the sticks.

I love being challenged by people who make me think. In fact, I can't be with someone who doesn't. My ideal girl will like a debate, but realize that is all it is. Also, I don't think I can be with a girl that is conservative. I believe in human rights, helping others, compassion, culture and the arts. I believe in equality for all no matter what.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a web software company. I love what I do, and I am saving to travel - a lot!
Places I need to go:
Ireland, Japan, Australia, Paris, Venice, London, basically anywhere there is a museum or historical significance.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being who I am. Being slightly awkward. Popping bubble wrap. Being genuine and honest. Being a good friend. Being a gentleman.
I play saxophone at open jams occasionally. I used to do theater, it was my first major in college.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My shyness. Don't get me wrong, I love meeting new people, but I need to feel out situations. Once I'm comfortable with you, I can talk to you without problem. I've always just been shy. Which means that I generally don't message people. If you think we would be compatible, let me know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything to do with Flash and animation. The Celestine Prophecy, Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Stephen King's It, Jurassic Park, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (unlike a lot of people, I have read these... not just seen the movies) Harry Potter series, Everything Bad is Good For You.

Music: Benny Goodman, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, jazz in general, Reel Big Fish, Motion City Soundtrack, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, Dashboard Confessional, Lucky Boys Confusion, George Clinton, Earth Wind and Fire, Motown, oldies. I like music that moves me. I have 6300+ songs on my iPod because music is life. Every culture has their own form. I'm open to new music as well. Some of the best music is the stuff you find on accident.

Movies: Citizen Kane, North by Northwest, French films (I just started taking French, but I've seen The Dinner Game, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, La Cage aux Folles, Amelie) Lost in Translation, Run Lola Run, Super Troopers, Clerks and Dogma, Rent, Musicals. Movies are like music to me. I have a ton of them. I would love to go into directing some day because my mind works in movie scenes - complete with soundtrack and everything.

Food: I grew up in restaurants, my mom's a server and has been for 20+ years. I've made everything from shnitzel(German) to tacos to corned beef. I like experimenting with food because like everything in life worth doing it should be fun, not just something you do to survive. I'll try just about anything once, and I usually smell my food before I eat it... Just letting you know.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, my friends, my family, my music/movies, good conversation, and not in that order necessarily.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
why people are the way they are. How I fit in the universe, and why people need to make things more complicated than need be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Why does it have to be Friday? I feel this day is over-hyped. What about Tuesday bowling league? Wednesday Caroline's for some open blues jam action (I play saxophone). Sunday and Thursday are hurling (Irish sport). These days are much more important to me than Friday. But if you really must know, Friday is always up in the air.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once hiccuped bubbles like on the cartoons... Long story.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're not afraid of a guy that wears his heart on his sleeve. I speak my mind, good and bad, and I'm proud of it. I'm at the point in my life where I have a good job, car and great friends. The only thing missing is the girl.
