My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Disclaimer! I am moving from Wisconsin to Los Angeles in September. Thought it might be fun if I knew people when I got out there.

I am a UX Designer, saxophone player, volunteer, and a pretty decent cook. Music is an important part of my life. So is volunteer work and the constant pursuit of knowledge.

I love being challenged by people who make me think. I believe in human rights, helping others, compassion, culture and the arts. I believe in equality for all no matter what.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a web software company. I love what I do, and I am saving to travel - a lot!
Places I need to go:
Ireland, Japan, Australia, Paris, Venice, London, basically anywhere there is a museum or historical significance.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being me? I don't really think about it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Maybe you can tell me when you meet me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music: Benny Goodman, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, jazz in general, Reel Big Fish, Motion City Soundtrack, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, Dashboard Confessional, Lucky Boys Confusion, George Clinton, Earth Wind and Fire, Motown, oldies.
I like music that moves me. I have 6300+ songs on my iPod because music is life. Every culture has their own form. I'm open to new music as well. Some of the best music is the stuff you find on accident.

Movies: Citizen Kane, North by Northwest, French films (I just started taking French, but I've seen The Dinner Game, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, La Cage aux Folles, Amelie) Lost in Translation, Run Lola Run, Super Troopers, Clerks and Dogma, Rent, Musicals.
Movies are like music to me. I have a ton of them. I would love to go into directing some day because my mind works in movie scenes - complete with soundtrack and everything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, my friends, my family, my music/movies, good conversation, and not in that order necessarily.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
why people are the way they are. How I fit in the universe, and why people need to make things more complicated than need be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Why does it have to be Friday? I feel this day is over-hyped. What about Tuesday bowling league? Wednesday open blues jam action (I play saxophone). These days are much more important to me than Friday. But if you really must know, Friday is always up in the air.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once hiccuped bubbles like on the cartoons... Long story.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You can get me in to E3. You have a TARDIS, and want to take me anywhere in time and space. Or a Firefly. That would work too.

But mainly if you think we'd get along, and you aren't a stupid face.
