Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy going out. I play soccer twice a week in summer and winter. I enjoy Toronto Island, skating at Nathan Philips Square (followed by a hot chocolate!), the CNE, Taste of the Danforth... etc. But if I had a choice between going to a party or staying in with an awesome lady, I'd choose the latter!
Basically, If you like to go out and party every weekend, then we probably won't get along. But if you yourself are a bit of a homebody, yet enjoy going out with small groups of friends, then we might hit it off!
I'm 29 years old, turning 30 soon, recently finished my master's degree and working full time in a job I (mostly!) enjoy. I have my own place downtown, I have a cat but love all animals, I'm a bit geeky (I work in the tech field, enjoy science fiction and video games) and other hobbies include reading, cooking, board games and soccer (both watching and playing).
I'm originally Middle Eastern. I moved here when I was 18 for university and have lived here ever since. Culturally, I'm much more aligned with European/Western style of living than with the Middle Eastern style (which is why I stuck around!). I'm also just under 5'7, with an athletic body, but I have no issues dating taller women. I know some of these things might be a deal breaker for some, so I just thought I'd get it out of the way first!
In a nutshell: I'm pretty happy with my life and ready for the next step. I'm not looking for someone to "complete me", but someone to share my life and experience new things with. Yes, this means I'm looking for a serious, committed relationship, but it all starts with a few dates to see if we're right for each other!
