I am Energetic, Supportive, and Optimistic.

My Self-Summary

I'm 25 and have yet to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I have a job which pays my bills without taking too much of my time or energy, leaving me free to concentrate on living.

i love to learn new things, travel, and live life at a level where I always have a slight edge of "holy fuck what am I doing this is terrifying" in the centre of my chest.

What I’m doing with my life

in general i'm spending my life relaxing. im getting back into biking, and spending as much time as possible hanging out with friends. I love doing touristy things in Ottawa, and having meetings about taking over the world.

I’m really good at

I've always been really good at making sad people stop crying. I've been told I'm a good public speaker and writer, and wish I knew how to do spoken word. I'm more interested in learning new things then thinking about what I'm "really good at".

The first things people usually notice about me

my fantastic ass?

well. probably that or my eyes, or you know something less shallow then that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

No Logo and Shock Doctrine: Naomi Klein
Incite Anthology
MisConceptions: Naomi Woolf
anything by Chris Harman, Bell Hooks, Jean M. Auel or Austen.
I also have a soft spot for any form of historical fiction, realistic or not.

I'm a vegetarian (want to be vegan, but Brie is just too delicious)
I love thai food, Indian food, and bizarre vegan baked goods

I love all sorts of movies from serious docs like "the take" to golden classics like Police Academy, Benny and Joon, and any form of girly flick like "my super ex girlfriend/devil wears prada/bridget jones".

My favorite tv show is Spaced (brit com from the mid-90s)

The six things I could never do without

a weekly meeting for issue/campaign X,Y, or Z
Coffee-and the Shops they live in.
trees
my passport
nights being silly with good friends
A book and at least 20 mins a day of reading it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

whether my friends are happy

bringing about revolution

what makes people feel powerful or hopeless.

On a typical Friday night I am

more often then not working, but when I'm free I like checking out new restaurants, hosting a potluck, or dancing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I stole candy from a bulk food store when I was 5....

You should message me if

You are happy
You are passionate about something (gardening, watching lint grow, art etc..)
You don't take yourself too seriously.
You appreciate sarcastic humour, dry british comedy, and talking about ideas.
