I've always been one to try to make the best of wherever I'm at if
I can. I like going new places, meeting new people and learning new
perspectives, once the ice is broken. I graduated college a couple
years back and currently work as a math and physics tutor, audio
engineer and DJ. I try not to take anything too seriously, and
almost any situation can be made better with a few quick jokes. If
I look lost or confused, it's probably because I got lost in my
head and forgot what I was doing.
What I’m doing with my life
I split my time between DJing/producing tech-house
, playing video games, and pondering the fundamental nature of the universe. I also do quite a bit of live sound work around the area.
I’m really good at
being goofy, smoke rings, animal magnetism, math problems.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When it comes to any art, I'm drawn to surrealism. Don't read as much as I want to, it takes effort for me to get into a book. I tend to gravitate toward classic sci-fi, especially with a dystopian bent to it. Been trying to get into some H.P. Lovecraft too. If I'm watching TV it's probably Comedy Central or Adult Swim. When it comes to music, there's not much that I can't stand, but I spend almost all my time listening to House/Techno for 'work'. A random cross-section of movies I like:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Bowling for Columbine
A Scanner Darkly
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
The Breakfast Club
The Cabin in the Woods
The six things I could never do without
Music, cigarettes, my Xbox, and I guess survival needs?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Quantum Mechanics, Parallel Universes, Time Travel, Special
Relativity, Black Holes, Space-time in general, and the meaning of
On a typical Friday night I am
working a gig, playing a gig, at a party with friends or effectively dead from exhaustion.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
You want to:
Riff on a movie
Talk about music
Show me a fun time, I'm open to suggestions
